Ottoman Turkish Delights on Bussorah Street is a little sweet shop that catches your eye with a vibrant display of treats. It's a good spot to stop in for ice cream, traditional sweets, and specialty drinks. While the shop is a takeaway counter with no place to sit, the hospitality is fantastic; the staff spoke to the restaurant across the street to let us use their seating. We tried the pomegranate juice and the baklava. The pomegranate juice was refreshing and hit the spot in the warm weather, but unfortunately they do add extra sugar, so it is quite a bit sweet. The baklava was very good, flaky and rich, though it was sort of on the small side for the price.
View on Googleit’s authentic Turkish ice cream and baklava and kunafa and variety of Turkish food here in Singapore I am quite amazed say the least highly recommended
View on GoogleI tried Turkish ice cream and lokum at Ottoman Turkish Delights. The Turkish ice cream performance was fun and entertaining, making it a great experience to watch. The ice cream itself had a unique stretchy texture. The lokum had a sweet, gummy-like texture that felt quite unique and different from sweets I’m used to. It’s a nice place to enjoy both the flavors and the experience while sightseeing.
View on GoogleDelicious Baklava and Turkish delights! The staff is so kind and helpful they really make the experience that much better. I bought 100 grams of Turkish delights and they said I could mix flavors. They kindly offered samplers of them so I could decide which to get. The Baklava was delicious although not too sweet. I'm used to sweet baklava and this seems to be a pared back version. They are very generous with their pistachios!
View on GoogleReally good baklava and delicacies with great service from the gentleman and lady at the store. They introduced the baklava and how it’s made along with the Lebanese coffee which he made carefully moving the cup amongst the hot stones. Great to see and a great experience with lovely service. The baklava tested incredible. Highly recommend trying this.
