Ordered the Tauto Ramen with eggs and steamed dumplings on the side, and it definitely did not disappoint! The pulled beef was soooooo soft and flavourful, I was literally inhaling my food because it was THAT good 🤤 Food came out relatively fast also, so yay! BIG shoutout to the Pakcik who was patiently answering all my kecoh questions and who made the whole experience so homely. Definitely would come back again to try the different dishes!
View on GoogleIn Singapore there’s only a handful fusion ramen (namely just your usual Mala everywhere) so I was very thrilled to finally come here after my husband can’t stop talking about Ono Ramen. Finally, a fusion ramen closer to home, all aboard to Javanese flavour town 🔥 Bursting Indonesian flavours come through when you browse through the menu and indeed, I wanted to try everything. But for today I tried the signatures Tauto (Pulled Beef with savoury broth thickened with tauco) & Gulai (Chicken Katsu). Tauto 9/10 Gulai 8/10 (only because I just personally don’t like cutlet soaked in soup 😂) Will definitely be back! PS. I LOVE the cat decor everywhere 🐈🐈⬛
View on GoogleDecided to check out Ono Ramen with my friends while we were in the area, especially since it’s halal. We went on a Saturday night and it wasn’t too crowded, which made for a relaxed and comfortable dining experience. The restaurant has a cosy, homely vibe that makes it a nice spot to just unwind. The elderly couple (likely the owners) were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which added a really personal touch to the visit. I ordered the Sambal Merah, which came with a mild level of spice—just enough to add a kick without being overpowering. The broth was flavourful, and the toppings were well done, especially the nicely seasoned egg and tender chicken slices. I also liked the addition of seaweed, which gave the dish a nice Indo-Japanese fusion twist. My friends tried the gulai, steamed dumplings, garang asem, and chicken karaage, and they all had good things to say about their dishes too. Overall, a pleasant, satisfying and affordable meal—definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area!
View on GoogleMy partner and I had one of the best ramen experiences at Ono—honestly still thinking about it! If you love spicy food, you have to try their Sambal Merah ramen… hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. The flavours were so rich and addictive, it just hits differently. My partner had the Gulai ramen and wow, the taste was superb, especially paired with the crispy chicken katsu. Every bite was so satisfying. Also, please get the steamed gyoza! It comes with 4 pieces but personally… it wasn’t enough (maybe because we were sharing 😅) but the taste was so GOOD THE BEST WE EVER HAD. Customer service was great too. The owner (the pakcik, didn’t catch his name) was super friendly and welcoming ❤️ he shared how Ono started and some stories about the shop. Truly a nice and humble guy! Overall, everything here is super worth the price! Great quality, generous flavours, and it definitely leaves your belly very happy. Will 100% come back again!
View on GoogleThe food was amazing! We’ve always loved their ramen, but this time we tried their rice bowl and were truly impressed — it carried both a Japanese and Indonesian touch. Big kudos to them! Definitely a must-try if you’re around the Arab Street area! 🫶🏼💯
