It is a shame, that I only get to know this wonderful restaurant when it is going to stop operating after 6th April 2019. Malay fine dining at its best! Note: It serves Malay cuisine, not Indonesian! Dishes were exquisitely prepared. Wonderfully tasting. Visually pleasing. The venue and ambient is even more exquisite! Located within a heritage colonial bungalow right next to the Malay Heritage Centre in Kampong Glam. I spoke at length with one of the owners Miss Mas after my dinner. She told me that they are still providing catering service! And they are looking for a new venue! Please follow their facebook! They currently have a branch in KL Golf Club (KLGCC), and will soon be opening another branch in a hotel in JB!

Location is slightly secluded. However, you will enjoy your time here. The food portions are unbelievable and delicious, I doubt anyone will complain that its not enough. There is a classic "malay heritage" vibe going on around here. And the fact that this place is frequently visited by nobles and royal families makes it more luxurious. Foods are Halal, and you might want to make a booking 1 day in advance if you're looking for an extensive options as some of the menu requires more than 1 day of preparation

1898! Heritage Building!!! Thank you to the staff Safira and the chef Hajimon! Although I came late, they still want to serve me but for takeaways. If you guys have an outing with family, this a very nice place. I love the wood designed (ukiran kayu) on the door, window. No wonder they got "A" class. It used to be a palace.

Awesome place! Great food. I went for lunch during a weekday, so there was no crowd. They gave some chips while we wait for our food, our kids love it that we had seconds. 😆 the meal is big, can be shared. Satay was okay. The meal set is way better and worth trying!

First time having Nasi Ambeng and Mamanda’s signature dish rocks! The visual presentation, delicious dishes and first class ambience in a historical venue is a uniquely Singaporean experience. Highly recommended for all locals and tourists alike. Can’t believe I’ve only discovered it today.
