The food was pretty average overall, nothing particularly memorable or worth raving about. Considering these are the kind of dishes that could easily be comforting and satisfying, somehow they just didn’t give me that “comfort food” feeling. The beef stew was the biggest disappointment. There were only a few thin slices of beef in the bowl, which felt rather pathetic for a dish where beef is supposed to be the star. The Bakmi Crispy was decent, but the fried chicken was a little too salty for my liking. The noodles and sides were alright, just nothing that really stood out. Overall, the food wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t particularly good either. Everything felt quite ordinary and a little underwhelming. Probably not somewhere I would specifically return to for the food, especially if it means travelling all the way down from the East just to satisfy a craving. For that kind of journey, I was hoping for something much more satisfying and memorable. Total spent - $30ish (2A1C)

A small, no-frills spot that’s best for a quick meal rather than lingering. The Indonesian, style noodles come in a good variety and are well-cooked, though the flavors lean more local than authentic. Portions are fair for the price. Service stands out, with the friendly owner checking in on diners. Food takes a bit of time as it’s freshly prepared, but arrives hot. The “everything” noodles with meat sauce are worth trying for a more flavorful option. Overall, a simple, welcoming place with good value and satisfying food.

Saw the reviews were good and advertised heavily on TikTok but very disappointed. Noodles are tasteless, dumplings is just fried starch, and soup is plain. Not flavourful at all. Drink doesn’t come with ice too. It’s edible but not worth traveling.

This small eatery serves Indonesian-style noodles. The tempeh and vegetable fritters are not bad. The chili sauce adds flavor to the fritters, but it’s not spicy. The noodle menu has a variety of options. The flavors are generally good, but they don’t really reflect the authentic taste of Indonesian noodles. The noodles are cooked well and the prices are reasonable for the portion.
