Koh Nangkam Restaurant is dedicated to serve the local flavours of the south - in particular, the ways that the Hodsubs have traditionally been cooking. Most of the dishes served are often reminiscent of the southern flavours that Singaporeans can relate to and enjoy.

Enjoyed dinner with my friends. Not really a fish person however turns out the fish was my favourite dish - slurped on the soup. Tomyam tasted authentically different but still delicious, more on the spices end rather than sweet. Enjoyed the thai green curry, thick fragrant coconutty taste. Pandan thai tea was delicious as well (less sweet was perfect). Friend ordered the banana thai tea, amazing too. Basil chicken was full of flavour, the chicken had quite big chunks rather than minced which is the perfect bite sized. Overall great place to dine in. Simple and delicious thai food. Really hits the palatte. We devoured everything. Come try it!

Food quality has seriously dropped while prices keep climbing. No idea what happened here. The Pad Thai was actually shocking. Bland, lifeless, and missing literally everything that makes Pad Thai good. No balance, no wok flavour, no nothing. Just a sad plate of noodles pretending to be Thai food. Basil Chicken wasn’t much better either. Flat, forgettable, and honestly hard to finish. This used to be a go-to Thai spot. Now it feels like a completely different restaurant, and not in a good way.

Tucked away along Jalan Kledek, Konangkam Thai Restaurant is a hidden gem that delivers an authentic taste of Thailand right in the heart of Singapore. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted by the warm, friendly staff and the restaurant’s simple yet cosy and homely decor that made us feel instantly comfortable. The star of our meal—and truly the highlight of the entire experience—was the Trio Flavoured Seabass. Perfectly cooked and bursting with flavour, this dish alone is worth the visit. The balance of sweet, sour, and spicy in the trio sauce was absolutely spot on, and every bite left us salivating and craving more. It genuinely transported us straight to Thailand with its authenticity. We also tried their Thai Tom Yum Soup, which had a rich, tangy depth and a beautifully balanced spice level that warmed the soul. The stir-fried kangkong was fresh and garlicky, a great complement to the seafood-heavy meal. Their Thai milk teas were delicious too—especially the original red milk tea and the Thai bandung, which had a fragrant rosy sweetness without being overpowering. Although we had originally made a reservation for the evening, we dropped in during the afternoon and were graciously accommodated with no issues. That said, I highly recommend making a reservation if you’re planning to go for dinner, as it gets quite busy in the evenings. Service was fast, the food came out piping hot, and the whole experience left us feeling satisfied and impressed. Konangkam is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Thai cuisine in a laid-back, welcoming environment. Rao ja glap maa eek naae-naawn!

We got the family set for 4 pax, tomyum soup is flavorful, love the sea bass as well, overall food is nice and would come here again. Had to reserve a table beforehand to get a table without waiting, had our dinner around 7 and waited around 30min for the food to arrive. Service is nice, restaurants is clean just a bit noisy as a lot of family and gatherings happen there.
