Lovely souvenir shop with lots of variety. Very clean but a tad congested and leaves very little room to move around. We picked up lots of pouches and our fav were the handmade wooden houses. It’s a good gift shop on the pricy side but we do appreciate the support to local artists and the variety it offers. You don’t have to necessarily shop here, go for the experience and see the some good products.

A few years ago, while on my way to Arab Street, I passed by a charming gift shop called Hygge at the corner of Haji Lane. I decided to stop by and take a look. What immediately caught my eye were the Christian decorations hanging on the wall. As a believer, I enjoy shopping at Christian stores around Singapore, but there are only a handful of them that sell unique Christian gifts. When I stepped into the shop, I was captivated by its beautiful decor, featuring posters, table decorations, souvenirs, accessories, clothing, bags, cards, custom-designed items, and unique gifts. The shop's ambiance was welcoming, bright, and peaceful. I had the pleasure of meeting the lovely owner, Kellie, who was attending to me that day. Kellie was very attentive, approachable, and helpful. We started a conversation, and fast forward to today, we have become friends. Whenever I need a gift to bless others for Christmas, baptisms, weddings, birthdays, or other occasions, I always come to Hygge. And to my delight, I always manage to find the perfect gift here. The mini shop we visited was an absolute delight, exuding a charming and adorable ambiance. They specialize in selling an array of attractive accessories, stationary items, and delightful stickers, among other things. The selection of products available is certainly appealing and caters to a wide range of tastes. However, while the shop's aesthetics and offerings are undeniably charming, it left us yearning for a more engaging and personable experience. The overall vibe felt a bit transactional, and we couldn't help but wish for a warmer and friendlier atmosphere. The staff, though helpful, could have been more proactive in connecting with customers, which would have enhanced the overall shopping experience. Despite this, we did manage to find some lovely items to purchase. The shop's unique offerings and adorable decor certainly made up for the somewhat impersonal feel.

The store has a good variety of cute items and is enjoyable to browse. However, the prices are very high compared to similar items available online. After purchasing a product and later seeing the exact same item sold elsewhere at a significantly lower price, I felt the value for money was poor. Overall, I would suggest being cautious and comparing prices before making a purchase.
