Heng Long never disappoints. Their Teochew porridge is always served piping hot, which is perfect for late-night cravings. Highly recommend their salted vegetables, deeply flavourful braised cabbage, and the S and sour pork. Service team is very polite and very accommodating.

Good variety and serving is consider quite fast with ample seats both indoor and outdoor. The dishes are display over the top of this long counter top which they have steamer beneath which help to keep them warm 👍👍 Taste is good and they are quite fresh, don't think there are any that was leftover from the previous night and was resold again. ( undetected during all my 4 visits in 6 months ) My family of 3 with 6 dishes with 4 bowl of porridge ( variety of portions requested) and 3 jelly drinks Burn $51 , expensive or not ??

If you thinking of having Teochew porridge for supper, you can consider Heng Long Teochew porridge stall. The Teochew dishes here overall quite nice and they operate until late AM. But I will advise you to check the price for each dish before ordering as can be pricy …

Food : Most of the food tasted great, but they are room temperature, as we ate at around 4pm, they do not keep their dishes warm or hot. Service : We came in group of 7 (1 toddler and a small kid), so we ordered quite a varieties of dishes but requested the portions for 2 (which admittedly is quite big for 2 if you order with large varieties and not everyone will eat that particular dishes). We tried to order one of the soya sauce meat, but was stopped by one of the staff, who worn black uniform, around 50 to 60yrs old. He angrily commented he couldnt sell us portion of 2, he said if we cannot pay, don't order. It really dampened our spirit for the meal. Atmosphere : Choice of non-aircon or indoor with aircon. Not really neat and span. Conclusion : Will never frequent the place or their outlets again. With this kind of staff/service, patrons will never return. (The younger staff is polite and kind though. He did told us that older staff has weird temper.)
