This place is a total rib off! Stay away! Food is alright, but nothing special, that you can get somewhere else in Singapore to a far more decent price. My girlfriend and I went there for dinner. Her dish was usually served with bread and she asked if she could get rice instead of bread with it. No big deal one would think. The meal was all in all good, but nothing special. The big shock came with the bill: Replacing the bread with plain white rice costed $50. Which is just ridiculous. Nobody thought of mentioning that replacing bread with rice would make a difference in the price of the meal. Even so you can get a whole considerable amount of rice, prepare it and cook it in a tastier fashion for less than $50, even in Singapore.
View on GoogleWent here for lunch yesterday after the pictures on the menu looked good and the interior of the place was very nice. We ordered shwarma wraps, being the only people in the cafe wouldn't think it would take too long. There were about 6 members of staff there, none of which appeared to know what they were doing. After 15 minutes a man got out a taxi and ran through to the kitchen, we thought at first this was the chef late. Also our drinks were finished in the first 10 minutes and not once were we asked if we wanted more. I mean the 6 members of staff must have a had their hands full considering they had a whole of two customers. After 40 minutes, just as I was about to complain our meal came through the front door, off the street (very strange) by a man I hadn't seen before. The two wraps were clearly bought from a kebab shop or take away shop. It was actually embarrassing. We were just happy to pay and get out of there. I could have counted the amount of fries on two hands and the side salad, I kid you not was to shredded pieces of ice burg lettuce clearly pulled from the prebought wraps. They also couldn't give us the 20cents change we were due as they didn't have any and had the nerve to charge us $3.33 service charge. Please do not give this business satisfaction!!!
View on GoogleWent to this place on 10-Feb-2018. I would've given them a 3.5/5.0 for the taste. But the quantity they served was extremely low and not worth the price. One mixed platter costed $35!!. But when we saw the quantity served did we realize that it was not worth it more than $10 or $12. Even the fresh juices they served were fake (bottled/packaged juice). They didnt have a kettle there for serving warm water. They openly said that they serve only tap water there. Funniest part is that food order for this restaurant is prepared in the nearby restaurants kitchen!!..( I am wondering why they have a separate restaurant open in that case). I would not recommend this place to anyone else.
View on GoogleVisited this restaurant two years ago and sadly it's gone downhill, the items on the menu bear no comparison to what you get. Drinks only filled half the glass and when you are paying 4GBP per glass you realise you are being ripped off, full glass shown on the menu, half a glass plus alot of froth in treal life. Ordered the taboulah, toasted haloumi and a lamb with humus, the taboulah came well after the other two mains(after we had finished) and had no flavour at all, the worst taboulah we have ever eaten, well half eaten. They cremated the haloumi and left it sitting before serving it, therefore it had gone rubbery, four small pieces on a dinner plate covered with shredded greens, so well camouflage d we nearly didn't find them. What looked like a full plate of lamb and humus was a small bowl. Will never visit here again, Arabic food is simple to prepare and serve but they messed it up.
View on GoogleIf I could give 0 I would. Allergic to tomatoes and I mentioned it on deliveroo where it asked you to, and they still put tomatoes in my food. If I had eaten it And had a reaction, I would have sued the restaurant. I had to throw it away as I couldn't eat it. Portions are very small. I received about 10/fries. The food was cold. I called them to tell them about the tomatoes but they dropped the phone at me and wouldn't pick up my calls. Being from the UK, this is the worst restaurant I've experienced here. No wonder your restaurant isn't vweh popular. Sort your customer service out. I work for the media so I'll be posting about this too. Disgusting and avoid at all costs.
