Blanco Court Fish Soup consistently delivers an incredibly satisfying and comforting bowl of comfort. The flavorful broth, generous portions of fresh fish slices, and their signature fried egg floss make it an absolute standout. It is highly recommended to pair your soup with thick bee hoon and their punchy, spicy chilli.
View on GoogleHad this for the first after about 10 to 15 years, use to love this when the shop was at Goldhill Center. The key cai yü flavour is not pronounced now as compared to the past. Now they have the deep fried egg topping, which adds an "oily" flavour that I don't enjoy. Fish slices are fresh, bite texture is like real fish meat not processed (vs some other fish soup chain stalls' fish slices have a bounce when bitten into). I will eat this if I happen to be around the area but will not travel there especially for it. Also, need to wait for (what feels like) about >10 mins after ordering for your meal to be served... everyone just stood around the counter to wait for their turn... maybe had to wait for ~6 bowls to be served before my turn during lunch time around 1pm+.
View on GoogleLoved this place. The fish soup was delicious and the auntie was super nice. They also serve cold drinks. Good food at a great price.
View on GoogleTwo thumbs up. Fish pieces were plump and not overcooked, and soup was so delicious. Had the omlette and fishcake too which were nice sides. We came in a Saturday afternoon around 1.30 and there was still a decent crowd but seats were still plentiful. Can imagine that it can get crowded during lunch so best to go off peak.
View on GoogleNot impressed , taste kinda weak and diluted, like their are trying to save some ingredient, and the soup lack of milk which is quite a turn off. It's priced at SDG7/bowl..which is quite exhorbitant and excessive ,which simply not equatable with the amount of fish slices and rice noodle.
