Today, four of us went to “Beyond the Dough Pizzeria,” and we tried their signature pizzas—honestly, they’re really delicious. The staff did something I don’t see often: they intentionally arranged the pizzas from lighter to stronger flavors, so we could actually taste the progression instead of getting hit with everything at once. My opinion is that this was a smart move, because it made each pizza feel distinct and helped us appreciate the subtle differences without our taste buds getting overwhelmed. If you’re going with a group, I’d definitely recommend asking for the same light-to-strong order—it turns supper into a mini flavor tour.
View on GoogleRated as the best pizza in Singapore by a few of my friends, I ended up visiting here twice over these 2 months! Reservation is a must if you want to secure a seat, deposit is quite high. Otherwise prepare to wait as there is very limited seating. You can view the chef making and baking the pizza at the bar table, which gave us an interesting experience. I personally feel both “Chef’s random pizza” and “5 Formaggi” are must tries, two small size pizzas for two pax is just nice. I recommend to pair with a refreshing drink as the pizzas are very rich and tends to get slightly gelat. Their tiramisu has no alcohol nor caffeine, very suitable for kids. Heard the lasagne is good too, will give it a try next time!
View on GoogleDelicious food and drinks! The burrata was one of the best I've had. And the pizzas were great, thickness of the crust is just nice! The earl grey spritz is my absolute favourite still thinking about it a month later. Will return again. The staff was very friendly too. As they saw me waiting for a bit outside they insisted I come in to take a seat at my table while waiting for my friend whos abit late.
View on GoogleAdvisable to make reservations. Had lunch there on 1st May, place was packed. Homely atmosphere. Menu offers selection similar to visiting a homely Italian grandma's kitchen. Pizzas were of decent sized for 1 and had the luxury to be able to have 3 kinds to share amongst 2 diners. If you are a fan of cheese, it is a must-try of their 5 cheeses pizza. As each pizza is made-to-order, do have patience and if possible, take a counter seat and enjoy the view of how your pizza is orchestrated from the start to end.
View on GoogleOrdered 3 Medium pizzas, 1 x 2pc meatball, 1 x fried chicken and fries. 4 cups of water. $170+. Fried chicken was way too salty, meatball was decent but nothing to write home about. The pizzas were a real disappointment. The toppings were really lacking for $40 to $50 medium sized pizzas. They were generous with sauces, but the proteins were really underwhelming. Yes I know, Iran war/gas price/post covid/rental etc etc, but the toppings could be more, for the premium prices of the pizza. We enjoyed the fries most. Everything else was average at best, and definitely not value for money at all.
