Glad this tea shop has revived! Saw a reel on this place and decided to check it out. Visited on a weekend afternoon and it wasn't busy. Was looking for the taro drink but couldn't see it as mentioned in the reel. Instead they were featuring the 913 oolong and I decided to give it a try. Didn't know there was an opening discount so it was pretty worth it. The drink was quite refreshing and tasted a bit stronger than normal places which I liked. Also had a fragrance to it. I left and returned again after an hour, this time decided to try the egg waffles and thr 913 oolong soft serve. I was pretty impressed with the service here, the staff passed the item to me and the soft serve fell and he added more soft serve to it. The egg waffles were crispy throughout and it was so cute the bubbles were actually heart shaped. The cup given was quite sturdy it held the waffles good and also the melted soft serve. Taste and flavours were on point, definitely would recommend trying the entire combination of the tea, egg waffles and soft serve. Keep patronizing this place to keep it going. It's one of the better tea places to go. Had a bit of technical issues initially the 913 oolong tea wasn't on the ordering machine had to order through the staff, and they restarted it later and it showed up.
View on GoogleI had their soft serve in Shanghai previously in 2021 (pictured in the cup with boba pearls), and have missed it deeply ever since. So elated to find out they’ve reopened some of their outlets here, and I will definitely be back to have this soft serve again!!! Highly, highly recommend, super good value at $2.90 for a cup. Would be over the moon if this outlet would be able to add pearls + cone bits + a drizzle of brown sugar syrup, just like the Shanghai one too :D
View on GoogleA surprise find walking down to Bras Basah Complex along Bain Street. Just by the taxi pick up drop off point. Facing national library There is a huge inflatable mascot outside the shop. Can’t miss it The tea is refreshing but a tad too sweet even asking less sugar syrup The oolong ice cream was light n refreshing. Definitely must order. Reasonable priced too.
View on GoogleFor people who normally dont add sugar in their drinks, I dont recommend adding sugar here. We tried adding the least sugar and its soooo sweet! The tea fragrance is very very light for someone who drinks tea. Bubble is overcooked, tea jelly doesn’t taste tea-ed. The 鸡蛋仔 too, does not taste of tea fragrant. Probably have to try the non sweet classic tea. I personally love their tea back in TW, I always drink their oolong tea and have many of their tea bags. They taste much better than the tea sold in this store.
View on GoogleIcecream tea's taste is heavier than tea latte. The grass jelly compared to gongcha, has more kanten texture & sugar+herbal taste. Also tea jelly doesn't add much taste in tea latte. Personal favourite is mulberry vinegar it has a instant sharpness > tea bitterness > vinegar sourness > after sweetness, however some people might not be able to accept it's harshness so might need to dilute/adding sugar.
