Had dinner at Sushi Plus in Bugis Junction. It is very affordable and the food is generally delicious. I ordered a mix of sushi, the Yuzu Unagi Chawanmushi, and the Spicy Unagi Dry Udon which was quite yummy. Most of the dishes were great, but the beef in my rice bowl was unfortunately over burnt. Still a good spot if you want a budget friendly Japanese meal.

Another one of those Sushi chain trying to come into Singapore. With just very normal food.. totally understaffed for a weekend. I only see two ladies running around. They are not slow, just too many things to do. Not enough spoons here... The other table asking for forks... Another table.. Asking about items.... Then need to bill... All just 2 ladies running around. And the company still...So why are we paying service charge? Food is normal. Ordered the fizzy drink.. With the pop, but the straw they give, cannot suck up the pop. Ordered The agedashi tofu... Usually parents will order for kids.. But i think.. They add chilli powder. Feel nothing fantastic or unique about the experience.

There have been quite a few improvements from the last visit we came. And as a frequent patrons to sushi express, I gotta say sushi plus has what sushi express has to offered but with more and better extensive items like their hyogo oyster, thicker cuts of salmon sashimi and many others variant of items. What I liked was the ordering system that you can order at your own pace without going through the staff which is what sushi express is currently doing and sometimes the order may not get send to you when the stall is packed. Food came relatively quick as well and most items we ordered are pretty good except for the swordfish (mekajiki) which was pretty disappointing. Overall, we will definitely come back again. P.S just to add on, I think it will be better for the less rice option to be before the dessert so it won't get missed out easily. Almost didn't notice it.

Had an early dinner with my wife and there was no crowd at all.. Ordered fair bit of sashimi, Oysters, beef cubes and took some sushi from the conveyor .. food items, to be honest, was all quite ok.. including the grill salmon head.. Everything seems fine till we received our dessert we ordered : Red Bean Soup with Glutinous Balls. Was really really bad.. I am sorry but I usually will not give bad reviews unless really bad.. Not only totally different from the picture , it was also totally off from my lowest possible expectation.. The dessert arrived in half clear white hot water and we had to stir it to find the red beans.. very few beans and totally not even cooked as a soup but just hot water into a small lump of bean paste... The rice balls were also sticky and mushy .. We decided to leave it and spoke to a very polite elder female waitress who heard us out. She saw the soup and told us she will speak to the kitchen immediately.. She even offered took it to the kitchen and ask for a change out.. We told her it’s alright and we headed off to pay the bill .. We told the male cashier we were very unhappy with the dessert as the quality was very disappointing.. That was when the elderly waitress returned to speak to the male cashier to remove the 2 bowls of dessert from our bill.. I am giving 3 stars for the good service that the elderly waitress rendered and her attitude in trying to resolve the situation to her best effort.. Kudos to the older waiting staff that are support the service industry to their best !! Hopefully the restaurant mgmt can relook into the problem and improve the situation.. I do not mind going back and give another review if the quality of the dessert improves.

Went for 1.5 per plate promotion. Quality not that impressive but I went there for dinner. So just give it a try since what u pay what u get. Very standard menu similar to sushi express. Payment done without checking. I went back and realize they count wrongly with addtional 4 plates from what I had. I directly report through instagram. I haven been requested to provide contact number but no further action although several followups from my side. Totally zero response / updates. Totally disappointed.
