We went to Meating Place for the first time and had a meal of our time. To start, the restaurant-made bread was out of this world and should be taken with their magic butter. We ordered the foie-gras, flat iron steak and the Secreto Pork. All the dishes were intensively good. The meats and ingredients were well curated and the done-ness perfect. A must-visit again restaurant.
View on GoogleFood was delicious, and the whole experience was great. Staff were friendly and thoughtful. An enjoyable dinner indeed. Will definitely be back. Had the “tasting menu”— an omakase style dinner. No regrets! Thank you, Johann, for the recommendations and the surprise birthday treat.
View on GoogleAmazing food and top-tier service! The dry-aged Wagyu striploin and Vintage beef are absolute must-tries. We also loved the Spanish Octopus, the fresh salads, and the desserts. The staff really goes above and beyond with detailed explanations for each dish. Highly recommended!
View on GoogleA satisfying meat date with a spectacular 350g stockyard dry aged Wagyu ribeye at medium rare. Perfect salted crust and that intense beefy flavors from the dry aging technique. It came with two petit accompaniments - garlic chips and a sauce that tasted like soybean paste. The sauce was too salty so we barely had it. We also ordered the set lunch which was very reasonably priced at $29++ for 2 course. Most of the saikyo miso cod I had in the past were too sweet but not for this. I love how the smoky flavors came thru across all the dishes including the starter pumpkin soup..maybe with the exception of the bread which had quite a burnt smell that didn't sit too well. And i was greedy to have something more and thus the Wagyu beef empanadas ($8/2pc). They reminded me of curry puff stuffed with beef Bolognese instead of curry potatoes. Do drop by early to avoid the lunch crowd..otherwise u have to wait a while for your food to be served
View on GoogleI brought my boyfriend here to celebrate our anniversary, and we had such a wonderful dining experience. What made our experience truly memorable was the exceptional service — the servers (and special shout out to the chef as well ❤️) were warm and attentive, engaging us in friendly conversation and thoughtfully checking in throughout the meal. Every dish was delightful and beautifully plated, especially the fluffy, warm bread with their magic butter, the kale and golden beetroot salad, which was fresh and paired nicely with the natural sweetness of the golden beetroot, and the refreshing peach sorbet which was a perfect end to the night. We enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back — thank you for making our celebration so special! ❤️
