Coffee taste bland. In the morning they only have sweets options and they were covered in sugar, especially the doughnuts. Hope they can give healthier choices. But I can see during lunch time a lot of customers came to eat the sandwiches. So I guess maybe their sandwiches are their special. Anyway, expect thatnseating place is enough but could be crowded during lunch hour, preapare for take and go.
View on GoogleCame here after discovering the 20% American Express dining promotion, which made it a good opportunity to give the place a try. We started with the Parmesan Fries ($5 with the purchase of a sandwich; $7 à la carte). They were crispy and well-seasoned, though I felt they could have been elevated with a dipping sauce on the side to complement the parmesan coating. For the mains, the Beef Brisket Sandwich ($18.50) was unfortunately the biggest letdown. The brisket was noticeably dry and lacked the tenderness I was expecting, while the sauce was too sparse to provide enough moisture or flavour. A more generous amount of sauce, or better yet, a more succulent brisket, would have made a significant difference. The Sausage & Egg Sandwich ($14), on the other hand, was enjoyable. The combination of the spicy hot mayo, soft bun, and subtle sweetness from the maple syrup created a well-balanced and satisfying sandwich. Seating is fairly limited, with approximately 14 indoor seats and 5 outdoor seats, so be prepared if you’re visiting during peak hours. Overall, while the Amex promotion made the visit worthwhile, the food didn’t leave a strong enough impression for me to make a return trip specifically for it.
View on GoogleDonuts were absolutely mindblowing! The honey sea salt was perfection and the cinnamon sugar had such comforting flavours. Lemon curd and chocolate peanut butter were absolutely delicious. Definitely will be back for the donuts! Sadly the sandos didn’t quite live up to expectations. The Mortadella Melt was packed with good flavours but the portion was really small (the muffin was the size of my fist..). Truffle chicken didn’t have enough flavour and the brisket was quite one-dimensional and drab. Could do with more zingy condiments to balance the flavour profile. Donuts 5⭐️ Sando 3⭐️ at best 🥲
View on GoogleHeard really great things about this place but was very disappointed. The sandwiches and donuts were very average and my mom ordered a hot latte which came super cold. They initially prepared it iced and when we told them we ordered it hot we suspected they just poured away the ice and served it to us. The staff were also very unfriendly and not apologetic when we pointed this out. Would not recommend and would not return.
View on GoogleHad a lovely brunch at Korio recently. We ordered the Lox and the Truffle Chicken sandwich. The Lox was fresh and vibrant, with smoked salmon layered generously alongside pickled beetroot and onions. The flavours were bright and slightly tangy, making each bite refreshing and well-balanced. The Truffle Chicken sandwich was hearty and comforting — juicy chicken paired with creamy truffle notes that weren’t overpowering. The bread was nicely toasted, giving it good structure without being too dense. The space is small, simple, casual and lively, perfect for a relaxed weekend brunch. Overall, satisfying sandwiches done well. I’d gladly return to explore more of the menu.
