The spread includes a wide range of Vegetables, meats (both marinated and not), Seafood seaweed, black fungus, pig trotters, Shishamo, bamboo clams, mussels, blue flower crab, prawns & innards & so on. My personal favourite were Scallops on shell, 🐚 Gong Gong, cuttlefish & 🐟 Fish. The marinade meat & ribs were good too. Also included are Fried mini Mantou (love this), fruits, desserts and ice creams. Lots of sauces to make your own dipping concoction. You can either grill or cook them in the soup broth. Today we tried the Herbal and Spicy Mala one. Other includes Nutritious Mushroom, Secret Recipe Pork Bone, Thai Tom Yum, & Healthy Tomato. Instead of the all-you-can-eat buffet at $28.80++ (Mon -Thu) & $32.80++ (Fri, weekends, PH) you can choose the ingredients in a big bowl given & opt for Mala Xiang Guo 麻辣香锅or Mala Tang 麻辣烫 instead. For these, you will be charged by the weight instead. Apart from the buffet, also available is the Grilled fish. 特色烤鱼. Be greeted with a wide variety of meat & seafood ingredients that'll leave you feeling satisfied without emptying your wallet. I love the delicious food & spread at Chong Qing Steamboat & BBQ. Mushroom soup was flavourful & tasty. However, the Mala soup base was a little blend. I hope that the restaurant can continue to improve their service to better meet the needs of their customers. This is the first time i am here and confirm will not be the last. There are so many varieties of marinated meat for bbq, as well as so many other options for the steamboat. It is really worth the money spend. The sauces varieties are not a lot but are considered sufficient. Do expect queues if you come at peak meal times so my advice is to avoid those timing!
