The white chicken is really nice fat and juicy. The portion of a whole chicken is really massive with lots of meat and at reasonable price compared to other famous chicken rice stores I been to. Taste is not fantastic but considered pretty decent and well made. The rice is aromatic but abit too wet. Friendly & hardworking old lady boss and staffs. Recommend to come earlier as really a lot of people, from locals, offices people to tourist. Serve huge Tze char menu also. Heard from neighbour table who is regular they like to come here eat fried rice haha. Recommended to come here try and also enjoy the nolstagic vibe. Remember to bring CASH if you don't have paynow app.

Amazing food. Had the hainese chicken rice - fragrant and tender - good chilli sauce too. Dry Beef Hor fun and bee hoon noodles were also delicious. Hainese pork chop was good but just a breaded fried pork chop, well made but nothing that special. Try the chicken rice and the noodles for sure. Cash only.

Good old school offerings and on point for taste. Ordered the chicken rice for 2 and Hainanese pork chop. Perfect balance and filling meal. Service was fast. Place was full of buzz. We were lucky to get a table, as it was full even at 130pm on Saturday lunch time. Topped up with refreshing lime juice which was just nice, not too sweet or sour.

June 2026 Finally here after missed it due to late arrival to store closing previously. Chicken rice is flavorful and the chicken was pretty good but not memorable. However, we enjoyed the availabilities of other local dishes from the kitchen. We loved our fish fillet soup and our vegetable dish. My rating 5 as very satisfied Taste 4/5 Temperature 5/5 Speed of service 5/5 Attentiveness 5/5 servers pretty prompt Cleanliness 3/5 Recommendation 4/5.

Delicious chicken rice which I had not eaten for past 10 years. The restaurant is old school like those independent zhi char back in the days, big and spacious. Chicken is tender and just pairs nicely with the soy sauce. Chilli wasn't too spicy and taste good, ginger was a good mix with the fragrant rice. Hainan chup cai is totally fantastic. Best I have eaten so far. Lemon tea was refreshing with lots of lemon. Have read the other comments about rude service but everyone seems to be polite and friendly. Will be back to try other dishes.
