what i got: 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗸𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘀 🥩 𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗮𝘂𝗲𝗿𝗸𝗿𝗮𝘂𝘁 𝗳𝗶𝘀𝗵 🐟 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗳 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗽𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶 𝗼𝗶𝗹 🌶️ 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗲𝗴𝗴 𝗽𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗸𝗶𝗻 🎃 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝘀𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗿 𝗴𝗹𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗸𝗲 🍡 they were SUPERR generous with the portions and they tasted really good too! the meats were tender and not gamey at all 🤭 the sauerkraut fish came in a hugeeee bowl with lots of ingredients like noodles, bean sprouts and literally sososoo much fish making ur money worth it !!! my favourite dishes were probably the salted egg pumpkin that was SO ADDICTIVE and CRISPY~ the salted egg taste wasn’t too strong so it didn’t get too jelak either, as well as the brown sugar rice cake that was served hot and crisp and had the perfect chewy texture! just felt that the brown sugar sauce was abit too watered down but i found the rice cake to be good on its own 😋😋

My first dining experience here, really love their food! They have a great variety of choices (cold / hot dishes and bbq skewers) that are truly delicious and flavourful. Also, the pricing of the dishes are very reasonable; good quality and generous portion. The servers were attentive and enthusiastic too. 😊 Thumbs up Chef China! I will definitely visit again!

Came here for the skewers and it didn't disappoint! Reasonable pricing and very decent quality. Beware that skewers are on the spicier side even when ordering less spicy. I would definitely come back to try out the other dishes. Interesting choice of space theme they got going on!👨🏻‍🚀🌌

Chanced upon this restaurant with my partner, we went in without any expectations or did any review before trying. We were both pleasantly surprised and impressed. The food was amazing and service was impeccable. I asked if I could order only one glass of barley because it came in a jug but they told me that they charge per jug, hence I didn’t order the drink at all. However, several minutes later, the server comes with a glass of iced barley FOC, I was super grateful!! ☺️ My partner and I might have found our new spot for china food, price is similar to that of Chinatown’s Oriental Chinese Restaurant 🫢 (also banana bread as toast??? Amazing!!)

Had a great time at Chef China on Beach Road! The skewers were packed with flavor, perfectly spiced and so satisfying. The soup had this lovely, rich eggy taste with seaweed that really hit the spot. And the Iberico pork with green pepper? Super tender, just melt-in-your-mouth good. Definitely will be back to try other items on the menu😋
