Overall, the food was good. The beef was fresh, and I appreciated that there wasn’t excessive blood or liquid coming out of the meat. I ordered the Herbal Oxtail Soup and the Mala soup. Both soups were on the lighter side in terms of flavour, but the Mala broth was definitely numbing and spicy—I’d rate it around 4/5 on the spice level. One small area for improvement is that the paint on the table was starting to peel in some areas, which slightly affected the dining experience. The service was very good. The staff were attentive, friendly, and responsive to customers’ needs throughout the meal. Price-wise, it’s not on the cheaper side, but overall, I had a pleasant experience. I especially appreciated the service

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great fresh beef hotpot spot for rainy days! Visited Chaoniu Beef Hotpot on a rainy day and it was the ultimate comfort food! We tried the $98++ Beef Feast Set, which is a great value for 2–3 people. The highlight is definitely their fresh, daily hand-cut beef. They even put little labels on the trays showing the exact "golden timer" for each cut so you don't overcook.

I agree that the weekday lunch is of great value. appreciate they have a wide variety of fresh beef. while I myself is not a great connoisseur of meat, I am not able to discern the difference of each type of meat once they go into the soup. they all taste good to me. 4th star goes to the beef ball. nice texture and flavour.

was surprised that the place was almost packed on a sunday evening. Their fresh cut meat was exceptional. cooked to their recommended timing and was tender and soft, especially the blade cut. Service was great. The collagen soup was light and not heavy like ither hotpot brands. Chaosan soup was also herby and tasty.. will go back only on special occasion as it is not wallet friendly though 😅😅

Visited Chaoniu Hot Pot for lunch today and had a very satisfying meal. The beef quality was excellent, fresh, tender, and melted in the mouth after a quick dip in the soup. The hot pot broth was flavorful without being overly salty, making it easy to enjoy throughout the meal. I also tried the pan-fried dumplings, which were crispy on the outside and juicy inside. Everything was served fresh and presented nicely. The service was friendly and efficient, and the overall dining atmosphere was comfortable. Great place to enjoy a hot pot meal with family and friends. Looking forward to my next visit! Highly recommended!
