Delightful experience from start to finish. I dropped by the Gallery 4 times over 4 months and reviewed many of the paintings by Terence Teo, Tung Ye Nang and many local artists before landing on the "Four Seasons" by Terence Teo. Superb piece and even better once framed and hanged. Kudos to Zi Xiang for being very patient in explaining and bringing out different artwork, even hanging them up so i can see first hand what they look like on the wall. Framing was top notch. His team of handy men are very experienced and old school. They will give you the recommendation and hang it up in no time. So many good pieces. Will definitely consider other artwork next time to support our local Artists and Gallery. Go check out Cape of Good Hope Art Gallery @ Bras Basah Complex!
View on GoogleCape of Good Hope Art Gallery is a very appealing gallery. They showcase very interesting Asian art works mostly from local artists, past and present. I was fascinated by the Chinese calligraphy paintings from the artist Mr Sim Kwang Hun, his dedicated passion cultivated along his life, reflecting, with a disarming simplicity, a wonderful depth of soul sharing important messages for a peace of mind of everybody. The managers of the gallery are exquisite and very professional. They know how to describe perfectly the soul of the artworks, the personality and the aims of the artists. And they share with you every single detail during the process of preparation of the artwork chosen for framing, so you can follow closely every single step. For sure an art reference gallery in Singapore to keep in mind.
View on GoogleHad a wonderful experience at Cape of Good Hope Art Gallery. The gallery is beautifully curated, with unique and meaningful pieces that really stand out. What made the visit even more special was the purchase experience — the staff were friendly, patient, and genuinely helpful without being pushy, making it easy and enjoyable to choose the right artwork. Everything was handled smoothly and professionally from start to end. Very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend this gallery to anyone looking for beautiful art and excellent service.
View on GoogleIt was Monica who taught us how to appreciate calligraphy pieces during our first visit. We bought a calligraphy written by Mr Sim Kuang Hun. We had second thoughts about the position of the painting after it was mounted on our wall. The gallery owners kindly sent help to get our painting readjusted. We are truly impressed by their service and passion to promote our local artists.
View on GoogleGreat gallery that perfectly blends elegance with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It’s located in a shopping mall in one of my favourite areas of Singapore, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. They showcase a wide range of works by talented local artists. The team was exceptionally helpful throughout the whole process. I purchased a painting, and it was delivered directly to my home without any issues. The artist personally signed the certificate of authenticity, which was a wonderful touch. We’re absolutely delighted with the beautiful piece we chose
