Am not a coffee drinker so I visited this place to try out the matcha drinks. I remembered seeing on socials they had something that interested me, like yam tart but they have changed the menu and it isn't available anymore. Nonetheless, visited this place on a weekend before noon and took a bit of finding. The place looks pretty nice and simple, there weren't many people but there are not many seats as well. Quite impressed they do have a good selection of matcha drinks and I found something which I have not tried before: pistachio matcha. Also ordered a pain au chocolat to go along with the drink. A pity the food selection is pretty minimal only one item caught my eye. Didn't take long for the order to be processed and collected. Tried the drinks and the pain au chocolat overall wasn't too bad. Could taste the pistachio but would have hoped the taste to be a bit stronger. Overall not a bad place to chill, quiet even on a weekend. The drinks are worth trying and the prices pretty reasonable like typical café prices. They use some good grade matcha so matcha fans this is a place to check it out.

The Banana Custard Muffin ($4.50) was super soft and instantly melted in your mouth. The banana custard in the middle oozes with rich banana flavor—definitely on the sweeter side, but delicious. Haru Matcha Latte ($6.50) had a lovely, rich, and creamy taste with a nice, subtle punch of matcha. If you prefer an even stronger, more intense matcha profile, you might want to opt for their premium matcha options. The service was fast and friendly, with our order delivered within 10 minutes. Despite the small storefront, the seating area is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. But It does get crowded during the lunch peak, and indoor seats fill up quickly. Cozy little spot to hang out with friends or need a quick mid-day recharge

lovely spot at duo. well-lit and cosy, great for a chill drink / hang outs. was pretty crowded when i was there so we sat outside. we got the pistachio matcha ($8.90) and strawberry matcha ($8.50). colour was promising but taste was disappointing. wasn't a fan of the watery mouthfeel. the pistachio matcha got a bit jelak and the paste didn't mix well with the matcha. the nutty taste wasn't very strong either. the strawberry matcha was better but would prefer my matcha to have creamier/thicker mouthfeels!

[MULTIPLE OUTLETS, SINGAPORE] I've been to @calligraphcoffee previously for their winey Kenyan coffee which was really good, and I'm glad to be back for their matcha variations and other coffee cuppas. To be honest I don't drink matcha often, but I can tell they are passionate in ensuring you get a good cup. From generous amounts given to their quick but effective whisking techniques, the 2 blends I've had (Ryokan & Setsuna) were nothing short of amazing. The Ryokan Usucha ($11.20) was really refreshing, with a smooth grassy note that isn't unpleasant at all. Definitely light on the palette and easy to drink still. The Setsuna Latte ($9.20) was surprisingly buttery and full bodied, with a rounded flavour more familiar to most people. You can really taste the matcha more than the milk itself which is already better than most places! As for their coffee, Iced White ($6.90) on the smoky chocolate blend was very smooth and well rounded. Achieving such flavour with little to no astringency present is really difficult, especially with darker roasts. The result is a smooth, nutty and chocolatey flavour with a little smokiness at the end. Splendid cuppa that I don't mind sipping away in the afternoon. So glad that they have another outlet in International Plaza as well for the working crowd! Definitely will be back again 😍 [media invite]

ordered their earl grey muffin + iced white (i had 2 pumps of sugar….) + strawberry matcha ! this is so good …. like not every drink is life changing but wow this is leh …. the taste profile of the chocolatey beans was madness 😭 and the strawb matcha had such a good balance !! really different from elsewhere their muffin was soooooo moist too 🥺 SO GOOD !! coming back asap
