Splendid experience. Thank you Wendy and team for an amazing night. Modern European cuisine. Food was very, very nice. All dishes were great. My wife and I were surprised at how every dish hit the right note. Service and ambience were great. Very pleasant atmosphere, which really puts you at ease and can dine relaxed, over a bottle of wine. It’s located in the competitive F&B stretch of Purvis Street, but this is very worth your trying. Give it a shot. They also have some good promos eg free corkage, kids dining for free on certain days etc. Pretty good.
View on GoogleHad a farewell lunch here & we got their lunch set which was quite affordable. Also added on their signature mussels which were fresh & buttery. The only downside was the steak we ordered, being on a tougher side even though it was medium rare. The strawberry crepes were really light and not too sweet, so we did enjoy that. The banana dessert was alright, nothing too special. Overall its a nice place to bring others for business lunch or farewell, yet doesnt really break your wallet (only speaking for their lunch set).
View on GoogleAlthough there was a glitch in their booking system last night, I was actually impressed with how the manager handled the situation. He was very professional and also informed me beforehand that the available table will be a smaller one, which I was cool with it. After ordering our food, the manager offered us a bigger table after the previous guests left. I think that was very thoughtful of him. The rest of the service staffs were attentive as well. Food was great, decent portion and reasonably priced. My partner loves the Chicken Schnitzel. Both of us enjoyed the dinner and we will be back again.
View on GoogleIf you deem going to the same restaurant for the third time in the same week means it’s worthwhile then you’re RIGHT. Being one of the newest addition to this busy street of cafes and restaurants, this place is no newbie. A lean kitchen crew manages the quality of the food served and still constantly tweaking the menu making sure you will get a headache just deciding what to go for. Though the entree is limited while they're figuring out what works best, their daily lunch set is how you can help decide what ends up in the hall of fame. Now let's talk about the place, a chic contemporary interior with cozy warm light welcomes you. The seating arrangement ensures you get comfortable with your crowd and do not overhear what's going on at the other table. It's best for a first-time date night - you get the privacy and ambiance to know each other. Food-wise, the serving is perfect, recommend the roasted king mushroom, I know it's nothing fancy but if a fungi dish can be savory, I believe the rest won't fall too far from the tree. The black ink? pizza is amazing, generous serving if topping on a perfectly thin crush, it's a must order. All day brunch menu is amazing, especially the Sea Urchin Omelette, with Unami taste, and great texture! Blue Bay Mussel is endowed with their signature seafood stew, served with a hearty serving of sourdough, you can’t miss it. It’s too much for me to write but try now. Affordable and delicious, you decide.
View on Googleloved their weekday lunch sets, super value for money. had the steak & fries (+$8), fries were perfectly done! savoury with the right amount of crisp! 😋 my lunch buddy is a vegetarian, & they were able to customise the menu items to suit her diet, even checking back with her a few times just to be sure if dairy items like cheese & such are okay. service was prompt & the ambience lovely. do check them out if you are around the area 👍🏼
