Andaz at Duo Galleria represents the typical modern upmarket hotel that emphasizes on vertical living. As such, its restaurants are smaller and compartmentalized, which reduces the luxury feel. Moreover while it’s situated on level 38, there were close high rise buildings near it and the view was really negligible. Our party of 3 ordered varieties from the Restaurant Week menus. Being a grill restaurant, the steak did not disappoint. The starters of burrata / crab cake and desserts of panna cotta / calamansi pie / complimentary chocolate cake did not disappoint. Surprisingly I like the mushroom malfadine most amongst the main choices. I did not like the Iberico pork chop as it was lean and bland. I certainly did not like the white asparagus soup as it had a bitter taste. I had given feedback that 2 in our group felt the same and the chef reply was it was all cooked together, implying that this is how it should taste like.

Our first time at this restaurant, and we were pleasantly surprised by the level of service and food. Service was friendly and attentive and there are nice views of the surrounding areas, including the previous Marina Bay golf course, Tanjong Rhu and Marine Parade. The sourdough bread with the signature brinjal dip was okay though the wife, a baker, felt the bread was dense. The burrata starter was fresh, and we liked the peas and asparagus. The Caesar salad which was delivered wrongly to our table looked fantastic, so much so that we wish we had ordered it. The mains of Argentinian beef was tasty, though the wife felt her piece had quite a bit of gristle. Mine was fine and I enjoyed it, together with the fries. Dessert of affogato and choux with banana ice cream and caramalized banana was a great ending to the meal. They also served FOC coffee or tea, and sparkling water was available for $3 per person. There was a wedding solemnisation ceremony in one of the rooms, but noise was okay. We did find that the three tables at the windows were quite close together. Do note that on weekends, you can park in Duo itself, which charges around $3.80 per entry.

Had dinner at 665 Degree Fahrenheit and the experience was amazing from start to finish. The service was truly top-notch, the staff were all very attentive and genuinely warm. I especially appreciated how helpful they were when I was choosing a drink. They took the time to understand what I liked and recommended a really nice wine, which I ended up really enjoying. The steak was cooked perfectly and tasted incredible. Everything came together really well and made the meal feel very satisfying. What stood out even more was how thoughtful the female service staff we interacted with was, she was especially friendly and patient throughout. They also surprised me with a complimentary birthday cake, which was such a sweet gesture and made the celebration feel extra special. Overall, a really lovely dining experience. I’d definitely come back again.

I really enjoyed the dining experience at 665, we came here mainly for the Hanwoo beef course and we were very lucky the shipment of beef just arrived on the same day (they may not always have it available best to call and reserve). Preparation of the dishes can take awhile so if you intend to have this course would suggest to order it immediately upon arriving. Service was excellent throughout, though would add when busy you may not have the staff attention quickly, but for the most parts it was very smooth. The chef himself came over to present the cuts of beef and explain what each was, plus he also adding in his perspective of what he liked which really helped us as well to pause and appreciate the positive points of the beef cuts. Could tell the chef was a foodie and well appreciated varying types of dishes from our brief discussion on food in general. The dishes itself were excellent, the bread starter with the unique sauce was superb, the beef tartare was really fine and went well with the onions, shallots and raw egg. The beef itself was of fantastic quality and was cooked well with terrific flavor, even so it came with an assortment of Korean condiments which while great I did prefer having the beef alone as it was. All in all it was a great experience, we had a fantastic night owing to the great staff, ambience and food.
