What a FABULOUS place!!!!! My 5 year old and I spent two wonderful hours checking out different board games, chomping away on snacks, endless cups of tea and so much glee!!! Marvelous find, that we came across by accident and can't wait to bring a lot of friends here to explore this VAST collection.. I don't know how many pics I took of covetable puzzles hehe!! I like that there'a a place for us grown ups also to get together for the very serious intention of having FUN! 😁😁😁 Staff is fantastic and so friendly, Myka was especially patient with us. This is a vibrant and very inviting cafe, can't wait to be back!
View on GoogleDear Cafe Owner, After reading that you are closing down one branch, I got my 4 other friends to go down support your business on 16 May, 8pm to 10pm, at your Mega Store. I would like to provide feedback regarding an unpleasant experience I encountered today involving one of your staff members, a Chinese boy wearing black spectacles by the name of “Jansen” (not sure if your other staff gave me the right name as he seemed hestitant when I asked for his name). I asked for the name as there was another young Chinese boy who assisted us and he was helpful. I do not want my feedback to implicate the wrong person. Perhaps, do make everyone wear name tag can be a easier way for us to recognise them. After all, your business also depends on your staff's ability to sense your customers' needs and speak politely to your customer. I was at your café with my friends and was enjoying the experience until this incident occurred. I approached the service area politely with my cup as I wanted assistance to refill/reorder my hot drink. As there was no staff around to assist me, I stood outside the temporary wall divider area (where you put up signal not allowed after this boundary) to seek help as I heard people talking inside. I was not inside the staff resting area or kitchen. I was outside!! I was shocked by the unfriendly manner in which Jansen spoke to me. His first response was to tell me off (in a rude manner) that I was “not allowed in the kitchen,” even though I was standing outside and merely trying to ask for assistance. His tone came across as rude and lacking basic customer service courtesy. I understand that there may be operational rules, but the way the message was communicated showed very little EQ or hospitality. He sounded like a spoiled young boy who has very poor understanding of customer's needs and unable to understand situation even after I explained to him in a nice tone. After my explanation, he continued his rude manner and even told me to go stand aside there and wait. He walked away after that. Even though my friends were waiting for me to return to continue our game, I wanted to pass my cup to a staff member and reorder my drink. Instead of assisting or helping to relay the message to the colleague on duty, he told me to stand aside with his no EQ manner and told me to wait at a corner without offering any help. Thankfully, another Malay lady staff member overheard my request and kindly helped to inform her another colleague to assist me. I appreciated her initiative and thanked her for her help. Unfortunately, the interaction with Jansen left a deep negative impression and affected my overall experience at your café. As a customer, I believe basic respect, professionalism, and courteous communication should be expected, especially in a place known for its social and welcoming atmosphere. I hope this feedback can be taken seriously, as customer service attitude greatly affects the customers' mood, overall culture and even the reputation of a café. Thank you for your attention.
View on GoogleGreat spot! The Minds Cafe has free flow drinks and snacks which kept us going all afternoon. Myka was awesome!!! She took time to explain the games and recommended a few off the shelves that were perfect for our group. Excellent service, will definitely be back!
View on GoogleBoard games and snacks are always good with friends, but this time they had a construction start without warning within the shop… Really quite bad, the ear piercing drilling went on and we escaped shortly after our session ended. Another group started right before the construction so rip their ears The staff were visibly affected too haha… not sure what the plan was when they decided to start construction during working hours with customers in the shop
View on GoogleAmazing, haven’t seen anything like it anywhere in the world. I came to store my luggage and was fascinated by what these people are doing. see prices on the menu.
