⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Shish Mahal at Albert Court absolutely deserving of a full 5 stars. Shish Mahal delivers delicious, authentic Indian cuisine with consistently rich flavours and generous portions. The ambience is warm and welcoming, making it a comfortable spot for a hearty meal. Staff are friendly, attentive, and make you feel well taken care of from start to finish. A wonderful dining experience! Highly recommended for anyone craving quality Indian food in Singapore.

I've been coming to Shish Mahal for over 15 years now, at least once every two weeks. The standard of the cooking is excellent (hariyo saag, yellow dal, fish in banana leaf, jeera rice are my favourite) and I believe they've had the same chef for many years. Sadly, the excellent manager, Vijay, whom they've had for many years had left, and thereafter, there was a noticeable drop in service quality. However, in the past few weeks, the service has improved with the appointment of Bhawna, a young female host. She is warm, welcoming, remembers her regular customers and knows what needs to be done, and seems to be able to lead the junior staff in running the operations smoothly. I was at dinner at Shish last night and it was thanks to Bhawna that my dining experience was as good as when Vijay was working there. If Shish Mahal wants to continue having its loyal customer base, it needs to retain good performers like Bhawna, and empower them to run the operations of the restaurant.

I visited this restaurant during my trip to Singapore, and unfortunately, my experience was not pleasant. After arriving, I had to wait for a while before being greeted by the host. Once seated, the staff did a good job explaining how much food to order per person. I ordered a drink and the Tandoori Platter. The food itself was very good, but it took almost 45 minutes to arrive. I also noticed several other customers waiting a long time for their food. Since I was in a hurry, I gave them my credit card to pay the bill. The total seemed extremely high, so I asked for the bill as I was leaving. After getting into my cab, I reviewed it more carefully and noticed that I had been charged for more drinks than I ordered. I had also ordered rice to go, but they added an extra box of rice and charged me for it. My advice to customers is to check the bill carefully before paying. Otherwise, there is a chance of being overcharged. Since I paid by credit card, I was able to dispute the charge, but the overall service and billing process lacked professionalism. I am writing this review so other customers are aware of it.

Just had dinner at Shish Mahal in Singapore, and I’m still smiling from the experience. From the moment we arrived the warm lighting, lively atmosphere and cosy open air seating made the place feel incredibly welcoming. Our whole group had such a lovely time,the staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel at home. The ambience was perfect for a relaxed family evening: gentle music, beautiful lights wrapped around the trees, and a peaceful yet vibrant vibe. The food was fresh, flavourful, and comforting, with every dish tasting like it was cooked with real care. We never felt rushed, and the table service was smooth and thoughtful. Overall, Shish Mahal gave us a truly memorable night. If you’re looking for a restaurant in Singapore that combines great food, warm hospitality, and a charming atmosphere, this place is an absolute gem. Highly recommended! 💯😇😇

A good restaurant we had got when we stayed in near by hotel. Food was delicious and customized for kids. Atmosphere was very nice specially in evening, it was quite and cosy place to have good time with family and friends. Prices are at par a and staff are quite good and helpful as well
