Yong Tau Foo at Pine Tree Cafe in Fortune Centre Level 2 🍽️ Walked around Fortune centre today to look for veggies that I have not tried before. Chanced upon Pine Tree, was recommended the Yong Tau Foo so decided to give it a go. 😬 Chose tofu, black fungus, veg fish, veg wanton and beancurd skin to be in my dish and took the Kway Teow (flat rice noodles) option to be cooked dry ✅ Final product was 😋 Black bean sauce was added with all my ingredients, simply 😍 This place is fully vegetarian with no alliums. Vegan options are available as well. Conveniently located near Bugis MRT (EW12), around 10 minutes walk from the MRT station. Highly recommended for shoppers and tourists around the bugis area 🥳

Vegetarian options: Everything here is vegetarian, which is surprisingly hard to find if you’re craving Chinese food, especially mala. What to order: We keep coming back for the dry mala noodles with extra peanut and whatever veggies we’re in the mood for. The numbing kick is addictive and somehow gets better every time. Service: The aunties making the food are always kind, and the uncle is incredibly warm and welcoming. It has the kind of neighbourhood feel that makes you want to keep coming back. Overall: Thanks to the temple nearby, we discovered this little gem and it’s become one of our favourite places in Singapore. Every friend or family member who’s visited us has ended up having a meal here with us. If you’re looking for vegetarian Chinese food, this place is well worth a visit.

Tried cloud strawberry matcha with oat milk for the first time here. Interesting but at $7. Kway chap is decent. Chikn rice is ok. Not a fan of the mala here though.

Pine Tree Cafe has to be my favouritest Yong Tau Foo restaurant in the city. This is my weekly protein fix after my 1hr swims. The baked (not deep-fried) curry puffs are yummy!

This is easily one of the best vegetarian stalls in Singapore! The "monkey head mushroom" is an absolute hit and pairs perfectly with either noodles or rice. Their Yong Tau Foo is really nice, and both the stir-fried vegetables and olive fried rice are packed with excellent wok hey.
