The roasted pork that was so tough and char Siew so dry with rice half-cooked. Rojak was another killer with fritter so hard and so dry not forgetting the popiah with skin so dry. Absolutely a no no anymore for this food court
View on Google⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you’re around the area, Broadway Food Centre at Sim Lim Square is a super convenient spot to grab a quick and satisfying meal. It’s your typical food court setup with plenty of choices — mixed veg rice, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Malay, you name it. Really handy if you’re in Sim Lim running errands or just looking for a no-frills meal. This time, I tried the Korean cold noodles — and honestly, it was super refreshing. The broth was chilled and tangy, with that slight sweetness and a nice kick of spice. Noodles had a good chewy texture, and it came with sliced cucumber and egg. Perfect for a hot day! Wasn’t expecting much, but it was surprisingly satisfying. The food came out quick too, even though the place was quite packed during lunch hour. There’s always a steady crowd, but seating turnover is fast, and it’s air-conditioned, which is a big plus. Prices are decent, portions are generous, and there’s enough variety to suit different cravings. Definitely a good go-to if you’re nearby and want something quick, hot (or cold 😄), and tasty without breaking the bank.
View on GoogleTerribly overpriced economy‑rice meal. This simple meal with only one portion of minced meat and a fried egg costs S$4.90. The pricing is totally unreasonable and exorbitant for a regular hawker‑style rice dish. I feel greatly overcharged. Extremely disappointed with this unreasonable pricing and will never come back again. Do not visit this stall!
View on GoogleThe best place ever to get your food and drinks, many Chinese Vendors though, so be prepared, my favorite was the TEH-C or Milk tea in short for 1.6 SGD "hot", cold drinks cost 0.80 cent more.
View on GoogleVery DISAPPOINTING dining experience, ordered the butter chicken curry and garlic naan from Rushi that is selling indian cuisine, is not butter chicken curry, is just usual curry. Butter chicken curry should be creamy, made with tandoori chicken and in a deeper orangy colour, to reiterate the curry that was served is the usual curry that is served with prata. The naan is poorly prepared, in fact is not prepared with fresh dough on the spot, seems like it was kept over night and heated up. The naan felt more like a prata and the guy actually used a spatula to break it into two halves, it is the first time I had seen a naan being served like that, naan should be soft and pillowy. Overall, super disappointing as the advertisement board they had outside the food court seems to suggest that they are serving top notch food. Threw away the food after eating one mouth.
