-Delicious & Authentic: Every dish we tried was packed with traditional flavor. It’s the ultimate comfort food. -Perfect for Sharing: The portion sizes and variety make it incredibly easy to order a bunch of different items (like their famous peanut sauce noodles, steamed dumplings, and soups) to share around the table. -Great Location: Conveniently located along Killiney Road, making it a perfect pitstop for a quick, satisfying meal. Whether you're popping in for a quick bite or sitting down with friends to split a few dishes, you won't be disappointed. Will definitely be coming back for more!

Sha Xian Delicacies 沙县小吃 @ Killiney Road ⭐⭐⭐⭐½ 4.5/5 Sha Xian Delicacies at Killiney Road is my go-to for authentic Fujian comfort food — and a reliable late-night supper spot to boot. Open 24 hours, brightly lit in their signature orange, and always buzzing at night, this place has a great energy that keeps you coming back. The menu is extensive and the prices are very reasonable, making it easy to order generously without guilt. One caveat though — the place is very cramped and crowded, especially at night, so don’t expect a leisurely dining experience. It’s very much a come-eat-and-go kind of spot, which is perfectly in keeping with its supper crowd character. The Braised Minced Pork with Drumstick and Rice is a solid staple — the drumstick was tender and full of flavour from the braising, and the minced pork added a rich, savoury depth to the rice. A comforting, well-executed bowl. The Sauerkraut Fish Soup is one of my personal favourites here. The broth is bold and tangy, with generous fish slices that are fresh and silky. Exactly the kind of hot, strong-flavoured soup that hits the spot. The Mala Fish Soup is another must-order — a fiery, aromatic broth loaded with fish and Sichuan spices. What makes it even better is that the mala spice level can be customised, so it works for both the heat-tolerant and the more cautious diner alike. The Fried Vermicelli was a highlight — cooked to order with good wok hei, well-seasoned, and satisfying. Simple done right. The one miss was the Meat Ball Noodles — the meat balls had a very processed, pasty texture with little discernible meat flavour. The staff described them as “very fine meat,” which felt like a diplomatic way of sidestepping the question. Worth skipping in favour of the other dishes. Overall, Sha Xian Delicacies delivers on flavour, value, and variety. A great spot for Fujian food lovers, especially if you’re looking for a satisfying late-night meal.

The food here is quite tasty and well worth the price very reasonable. The portions are generous and the flavors suit Asian tastes. Dishes were served quickly, no long wait, and everything was great overall. Downside: The shop next door is a tire repair place, so there’s a slight smell of rubber. It would be nice if the restaurant added some pleasant fragrance inside. The staff take good care of the place — they even keep it clean and chase away any flies or mosquitoes if needed 🤣🤣🤣

If you’re not fussy and looking for some Chinese cuisine in town to satisfy late-night cravings, this could be one option (since it opens 24h I believe). The wonton is quite unique, a little different from the local ones I’ve had- doesn’t taste like it’s meat but more like some sort of fish-paste type of filling. Scallion noodles was quite nice. Might try the beef noodles next time, looks like one of the bestsellers. Food wasn’t superb but its comfort food that was reasonably alright. Bonus that it opens 24h so it’s convenient to go late after work. Staff was friendly and gave some good advice on what type of food and how much food to order. They don’t oversell which I appreciate.
