This restaurant offers excellent Korean dishes, prepared and served by Korean owners. While there wasn't much conversation, the service was good. I've been a customer here for many years and just realized I hadn't left a Google review. I highly recommend you come and try it.
View on GoogleInteriors are simple. Apt Korean music. Chicken bulgogi was very good. Will certainly come back for it. The chicken bibimpap was fine. In line with Korean tradition they served the sides. 8 of them. They were fine. The sweet potato was very good. Seems the place is run by the family. But not sure though. Just a guess. Service is prompt. Felt the prices were slightly higher but I guess the location drove the price up. But the bulgogi was worth its price.
View on GoogleGot introduced to this by a friend! Had a surprise find: beef soup!? leek pancake!? What we ordered: [1] Beef Soup (설렁탕) SAURR gud! What a perfect hangover food tbh :') It’s light on the palate but still rich in beef flavour, very comforting. The beef slices were tender, almost like they melt in your mouth! Honestly it’s great when you’re sick or just want something easy on your stomach. [2] Bibimbap (비빔밥) Super flavourful with lots of textures, crunchy, soft, savoury all mixed together nicely. Every bite felt balanced with proteins and veg <3 [3] Mandu (김치 만두) It’s the size of an index finger! I didn’t really enjoy the dumpling skin, a bit too thicc for me, but they were damn generous with the filling. Packed with kimchi, so flavour-wise still solid! [4] Leek Pancake (부추전) Thin, crispy, not gelat at all. More on the savoury side and super easy to keep eating without feeling heavy. This was gone within seconds HAHAH, it’s that gud! [5] Beer (Terra) Such a good call 🥹 It was smooth and easy on the throat! Made the whole meal even better 🍺 [6] Neng Myun냉면 The noodles can come off as indigestive for people with weaker tummy like me as it's hard to chew and swallow 🥲 jus to add! their side dishes, esp the sweet potato coated in sugar 😚(goated)! wld b bck for other menus!
View on GoogleI was looking for some nice Korean food in town area and glad to discover this place. It’s owned by Koreans, and served a pretty good variety of side dishes. I enjoyed their doenjang jiggae (soybean paste stew) and my hubby enjoyed the cold noodles. Super stoked to see kimchi mandu on the menu (it’s so rare in SG!) and had to try it. It’s bigger per piece compared to the usual size, tasted not bad but the dumpling skin was too thick and dry. Overall price is acceptable for the portion size, worth a visit for a casual family meal.
