A classic Singaporean breakfast spot that attracts a great mix of tourists and locals alike. I arrived around 8:00 AM and, while there was no queue, the place was almost entirely full. It’s a fantastic, authentic atmosphere to start the day—definitely a must-visit for a true taste of the local coffee shop culture!

A wonderful place for a classic Singaporean breakfast. They serve all the local staples, and each one is done with care and attention to detail. The coffee was freshly brewed, aromatic, and robust, with that familiar slightly bitter edge that pairs perfectly with breakfast. The kaya toast was excellent—thin slices of bread toasted until golden and crisp on the outside, slathered generously with fragrant kaya and a slab of cold butter that slowly melted into the warm toast. The balance of sweetness and richness was spot on and incredibly satisfying. The soft-boiled eggs were cooked just right, with silky whites and rich, runny yolks. Seasoned with a splash of soy sauce and white pepper, they were comforting, savoury, and simple in the best way. Everything came together beautifully for a nostalgic, no-frills breakfast that really hit the spot. We enjoyed it so much that we returned again—definitely a place we’d recommend for an authentic and satisfying Singapore breakfast.

Always looking for the OG 🥹. Soft boiled eggs, Singaporean coffee and butter kaya toast. Nice place to have some breakfast and chilling with some locals, who also known as one of their favorite places

A lovely local spot that’s been around for quite awhile!! The owner saw me sitting alone and offered me free toast & paired me up to chat with some people. I love these communal spots that make a busy city feel like home :)

Kicking it old school in this classic Singaporean cafe. An affordable way to try many classics, the prices are so reasonable, especially compared to back home in Vancouver! We ordered a laksa with sambal and chicken curry and prata bread. Our guests also ordered Kaya toast with poached eggs. The laksa was very savoury, flavourful and satisfying. The curry chicken was also so good!! We also ordered a variety of drinks, from iced lemon tea, to hot and cold white coffees, very good. Highly recommend trying their different drinks. They are very tasty.
