From the folks that brought you Hokkaido Manpei in Central Mall comes this dinner-only restaurant along the Mohammed Sultan stretch. This is one of only three restaurants in Singapore that offers motsunabe, a richer version of the beloved Japanese hotpot made with miso & offal.

Always passby Goku finally had some time to try! We were also told by their staff this Friday, 22.05.2026 is their last operation :( Tried their sesame spicy ramen, the soup was really spicy and nice! Ramen was al dente too! Tuna sashimi was very thicker cut. Complimentary kimchi was great pairing too! Chicken soft bone was not too our liking, find it abit huge cut and not hot and crispy enough. Overall dining in was pleasant, staff were very nice and helpful for ordering. Wishing all of them the best!! ✨🥲

Good food with generous portions. Their beef intestine soup is always my go-to dish—flavorful, comforting, and consistently satisfying. The place offers reliable quality for a casual meal. However, customer service could be improved, as attentiveness and friendliness make a big difference. Still, worth visiting for the food alone.

Drop by the Robertson Quay area and chanced upon this restaurant as I just parked nearby. They have quite value for money lunch executive set and the variety is quite extensive. We orders a pork katsu curry rice and a beef stew. Both sets come with a salad and jap cold appetisers. I must say that the food is actually so-so. It is not fantastic, but neither is it horrible.

My family and I wanted to grab a Japanese dinner yesterday night, and we walked into this place. No plans to do so, but it turned out to be surprisingly good. The food is good, and service is great despite it being a full house, and the place has ample space enough for ambience. You know you're getting authentic Japanese food when you see Japanese families sitting down to eat at the same place, and are greeted by Japanese staff... Perhaps the only gripe we had was with the stir-fried beef intestines. They were tough as nails, and almost impossible to bite through, and I didn't really care for the Mala-like taste of the dish...and this is the reason for my 4-star rating.

really enjoyed the food at this restaurant - and they take cdc vouchers ! recommend the deep fried oysters and diced steak. may pass on the cod roe rice, it’s $8.90 for just a piece of cod roe on rice - the mentaiko udon is $13 i suppose that may be a better choice! ginger pork was very flavourful but the portion of pork was reallly small, it was really 80% onions
