They ran a promotion recently. I felt it was badly organized. Even without many customers on that morning, the staff did nothing to manage the people that turned up. Some went inside the place itself and occupied seats. Others started to form a queue outside. Later some outside people noted people inside the eatery possibly also waiting. These people went in and asked the cashier what was the arrangements. Cashier said there was no arrangements. Whoever comes to the cashier at noon would get it. This led to chaos and unhappiness as some people ended up couldn't get the promotion. People threw their orders into the hands of the cashier without any sequence. Feedback was given to the staff but they seemed not interested. The next day there was some improvement with the use of stamped order. And with feedback from customers they introduced writing of queue number on the spot. All of a sudden on the third day they haphazardly introduced a only for new customers only term on the spot. So irregular and disorganized without notification on social media. I know of a few people making empty trips down for nothing. And how would they recognize who would be the repeating customers? System was biased and a failure. The food itself was fresh and good. They allowed the customers to mix and match. The petite lunch itself I would say would be filling to about 60 percent of an adult male. Executives working in that area could probably support the place. A simple small meal would set you back about 12 SGD plus My rating is more on the disorganized nature of the event.

This area, u are spoiled for choice for coffee… UE Sq alone have 5 branded coffee joints. Along M.Sultan Rd, u have this Craftsmen, TCC… and Common man Coffee Roaster along Martin Rd. Then at New Bahru, u have PPP coffee. Anyway, decided to try Craftsman coffee. Long Black was gd, nice and smooth. Took a window seat which is a plus. The only con is… the sound echo is rather loud if it’s crowded with pple talking. And the aircon seems to be somewhat underpower.

Had the bowl. Good with generous chunks of chicken. The counter staff was nice enough to show me a discount code for a better price. The only improvement they need is to reduce the amount of printed paper for ordering. Not very sustainable.

Food is objectively lacklustre. Rosti from the brunch menu was mushy and tasteless. Please dry and salt your potatoes better. This is basic culinary knowledge. I don’t know why a random google review is needed as a reminder. “Poached” eggs verged on the precipice between soft boiled and a 7 minute boiled egg. I gulped the 2 lumps of sadness down with a face devoid of emotion. The accompanying bratwurst (NPC in every sense of the word) was consumed as a means to not completely waste this dismal plate. For $30, I surely expect better. Way better. Left the cafe with many regrets that the money could have been better spent on chai dao kway and kaya toast. Or by heading to another cafe. Woe is me.

Chai latte large came little more than half empty + was super sweet, maybe the 7 spice chai latte is more authentic. And I personally prefer the flat white + baileys latte. blueberry muffin was gr8 Edit ordered again and received burnt muffins . Was very disappointed my last order did not have heated muffins and was good. I am thoroughly disappointed with the quality received
