I would say we got one of the best experiences when dining here at Balakaki! You know your food is good when you have successfully brought us back to our stay in Greece. And a compliment for Sugan when he went the extra mile and provided one of the best dining experiences we can have in a restaurant. Noted that we were celebrating my partner’s birthday. It came with complimentary dessert and amazing service. He deserved the compliment! We had a great dinner here. Thank you ❤️

I first dined in Bakalaki 8 years ago and they have been consistently good!! Food was amazing - loved the dips, octopus, grilled platters, calarami. Service was outstanding - every staff was attentive though the restaurant was pretty full, recommended portions well and seemed genuinely happy to serve! Atmosphere was great - good for big or small groups and child friendly as well. It's always a good time and a good choice for greek food (or just grilled seafood or meats tbh)!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had a wonderful dining experience at BAKALAKI Greek Taverna. The food was excellent—fresh, authentic, and full of flavour. Every dish was well-prepared and enjoyable. A special mention to our server, Sugan, who provided exceptionally attentive and friendly service throughout the meal. He was welcoming, checked in on us regularly, and made us feel well taken care of without being intrusive. Great food, outstanding hospitality, and a warm atmosphere. Highly recommended, and I'll definitely be back!

It was Father's day so the restaurant was packed and noisy. It is a huge restaurant so on a normal day the environment should be nicer. The grilled octopus tentacles was perfectly grilled and it was flavourful and chewy. Unfortunately for the mixed grill, it was a hit and a miss. The rack of lamb was very good, so tender and full of flavour. Unfortunately I don't know why the chicken was in small pieces so it was over grilled and very dry. For dessert, I recommend the chocolate ice-cream. Service was friendly and prompt.

Good place for hosting and large group. Space is incredibly large and no short of tables for big group walk ins. Food is also hearty and good for sharing but obviously at an above average price due to the venue. We had a meat platter for 4 which was about $242 and came with 2 large plate of meat which was definitely enough to feed 6 people if you’re an average Singaporean eater.
