Came here for a late Sunday lunch, as we had a heavy breakfast.. Ordered the (1) crispy rosti, avo and eggs; and (2) Ricotta Tartine (Toasted Sourdough, Ricotta, Chili Jam, Sweet Melon, Confit Tomatoes, Toasted Almonds, Basil) For dessert we had French Kiss (Crispy Tart Shell, Pistachio Almond Cream, Pistachio Ganache, Pistachio Crémeux, Tangy notes of Raspberry) The food presentation were very pretty and tasted good. Crispy Rosti was savory while the Ricotta Tartine was refreshing and on the sweet side. Personally we didn’t find their signature dessert French Kiss mind blowing. To us the raspberry jam filling was too empowering that couldn’t taste the pistachios at all. (I think the pistachios dessert at 174Bingo is much better) Just our personal opinion… no right or wrong. Pls note that the food portions are abit small vs the price… so this place is good for small bites/ sharing etc. Not for big eaters/ main meals.
View on GoogleI recently visited ÁTICO | ROOM #15, and it’s such a charming spot with a relaxed, stylish vibe, perfect for a slow brunch or a casual catch-up. I tried the French Kiss ($13), Rock & Roll ($13), and the Ricotta Tartine ($22), and I have to say that I’m pretty impressed with their craftsmanship of the cakes. The French Kiss was absolutely mind-blowing. I’m still thinking about it 🤤 The voluptuous mascarpone pistachio crémeux unveils a tangy layer of raspberry confit, all sitting on a pistachio almond cream base nested in a crispy, flaky crust. Silky, balanced, and just incredibly well-executed. Kudos to the pastry chef 👏🏼 The Rock & Roll leaned slightly sweet for my liking, but it’s still a beautifully constructed cake. Salty dark chocolate shards contrast nicely with the smooth ganache, layered over a tender hazelnut dacquoise, and finished with soft chocolate chantilly and hazelnut pralines. You can really appreciate the layers and textures in every bite. The Ricotta Tartine was slightly too sour/acidic for my preference, but the sourdough bread itself was excellent, full of flavour with a great texture. Overall, ÁTIPICO | ROOM #15 delivers thoughtfully crafted desserts with clear attention to detail. While some flavour profiles may not be for everyone, the level of technique and execution really stands out. I will definitely be back to try their other cakes and main courses.
View on GoogleFirst time here with kids. Didn’t expect all dishes ordered suits my picky children. Every dish wipe out clean. We love the pomodoro and strawberry tomatoes salad. Cheese toasties and new dish mdm c definitely drawing factor for second visit. Not just the food, vibes and service are excellent. We are definitely well taken care by the team, service staffs are attentive, polite and always with a smile. cos they notice there’s children, some dishes had chilli but by the side. Well done! French 😘 , black 🦢 and tiramisu ended our late lunch more than just a sweet note. A happy long weekend indeed.. Weekend reservations is must. Cos came in with full house!!!
View on GoogleWe walked in at 1130am and there was a queue for the restaurant. Took about 15mins standing outside before we got a table. We ordered their bread and butter jam set, burrata and fig danish, ricotta tartine, and off menu pistachio strawberry tart. Overall a very pleasant brunch.
View on GoogleGood cafe for brunch in New Bahru. Cool cafe vibes with delicious food and great service. I felt the food was a bit overpriced for the portion size. They have indoor and outdoor seating available and they accept bookings only through Instagram. The staff is courteous and warm. We had to sit outdoor for brunch so it was a bit hot and humid. They have a weekend menu from which we tried Potato Rosti with Avocado and it was crunchy and delicious. Overall definitely a must try for food taste but avoid if you are very hungry.
