Our visit to Bombay Dining was completely unplanned; we were drawn in by the friendly staff as we walked by. Seeing the reasonably priced menu, we decided to give it a try. To our delight, the quality and taste of the food exceeded our expectations. As an avid lover of Indian cuisine, I must say this is among the best I have ever had. Being my first visit to this restaurant, some of the dishes we ordered are Saag Gosht, Broccoli Mattar Masala, Haryali Chicken Tikka, along with Garlic and Kashmiri Naan. I was pleasantly surprised by the refined flavors and unique taste of each dish. K. Shubham made our dining experience enjoyable with his attentiveness and warm hospitality. Unfortunately, we didn’t capture much photos of the main dishes, as reviewing this place was an afterthought. I only managed to take pictures of the desserts.

Sat night was initially quiet at around 7.30pm. So we managed to order and get our food pretty fast. Service was good, the food was also good! Pretty good value especially the biryani, the butter masala was good too, though I find it a bit sweet for me. The garlic naan was nice and fragrant. Complimentary Papadum was a good gesture. Nice mint sauce!

Surprising find in the west along pasir panjang. The Indian food is refined and not greasy. The food is cooked fresh. We ordered a mutton saag (mutton pieces in spinach gravy), broccoli and peas in masala gravy, a coriander marinated grilled chicken, garlic naan, Kashmiri naan, gulab jamun and masala tea. Everything was delicious and cooked with their own recipe which seemed more fine dining in quality. For example, the Kashmiri had chopped cashews and orange peel instead of just the usual dried fruit. This was confirmed when I checked the chef’s background. We were served by Kumar Shubam who is very hospitable and not pushy when we ordered. He recommended different dishes when I told him I wanted to try new dishes. Although the restaurant seemed empty, we noticed a lot of delivery orders. Turns out they have regulars who order even though their delivery location is in Tuas and Punggol. Didn’t take photos of the curries as curries generally aren’t photogenic.

OKAY Location and Ambience: When I first heard of Bombay dining the first thing that came to my mind was an authentic Indian restaurant playing Bollywood songs, with an interior which might make you experience the scrumptious taste of the street food of bombay.. But this place was nothing like it except the part that says playing bollywood songs. Interior was very ambiguous and doesn't make you feel at home at all. Talking about cleanliness, I would give them a big thumbs up. Service: Service was good. We were first served with papad and extremely tasty green mint chutney and after 10 minutes our order was served. Food: Although they do have Indo Chinese and mexican dishes in their menu but I would suggest you to go for Indian only. I have tried both veg and non-veg dishes and all of them were kind of okay. Again drinks were a big disappointment as the tea was made of sour milk and also the lassi that we had ordered was made up of sour curd. Cost: Cost is average but if you really wanna get a good Indian food in cheaper rate then try using vouchers from fave and you might end up with a really good deal.

This was my second visit to Bombay Dining, and once again, it did not disappoint. I opted for the chicken set lunch, which was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. An absolute delight!
