My wife and I went to this branch to order dinner, but was told they ran out of rice. I told server I was willing to wait, instead of not ordering food. Regardless, the food was served eventually, and it was worth the wait. The spices and sauces that goes with the dishes, make the dishes nice and tasty.

Ordered the beef rendang set and the assam fish set. Price point is on the high side. Variety of dishes on the set is good. Flavours of the Nonya dishes is slightly above average. Chendol is so-so. If you are looking for a quick fix of Nonya food and in the area, this is it. Keep the expectations to yourself.

Dropped by for lunch on Wednesday noon with colleagues. This was my second visit. Overall food was ok. Decent nyonya food in SG. Their set lunch was good. It came with 2 side dishes and dessert (sago gula Melaka). If you don’t like sago, you can change to another dessert and pay $2z You can choose based on your preference. Top up a bit ( $1)for drinks. They do sell snacks and layer cake too. Check out their lunch set menu in the photos.

Amount of oil from sotong masak hitam was about 6-7 tablespoons. We also waited 70 MINUTES for our food to arrive. While food wise it all tasted okay, the hot lemongrass tasted like a syrup which was heated in the microwave as with the vegetarian kleo as the gravy was very taut at the top.

All dishes were tasty and wholesome like homecooked food. However, the portions were rather small. The desserts were only half filled in bowls that were already tiny to begin with. The chendol and barley were diluted and bland. If the quantity and quality can be up a notch or two, then the set meals will be truly value for money. Also, contactless payment options were limited (No PayWave and PayNow).
