ASHMI still serves very good thosai after all these years. Came to check out their refreshed shop and it looked clean and inviting. There're more than 50 types of thosai on the menu! The real test of the cooking skill and ingredients used can be examined by the Plain Thosai, and it doesn't disappoint. This is the go-to place for a quick and tasty thosai fix!

Yesterday brought some parupu vadais and a packet of mutton perratal. The worst food have eaten. The vadai was super salty! Can't even eat properly eith so much salt in it. No taste from the mutton. After leaving it the fridge, we took out to warm them and ate some. When we wash away the orange looking oil, was shock to see that the oil patch feel like rubber and will not disolve in water, stays like a plastic! See the attached picture. Do not know what oil they using to cook. Beware of such restaurants food! Do not poison yourself. Never ever I will buy anything from here. Horrible!

Newly renovated, the place looks refreshed and inviting, and the food is outstanding. Authentic Indian flavors, well-balanced spices, and generous portions made the meal truly enjoyable. Definitely a must-visit for anyone looking for real Indian taste. Highly recommend.

Chanced upon this traditional south Indian eatery. Had a Mint Basil Lemon tea to sooth my tummy. Indeed the concoction was refreshing and light. Egg onion thosai was crisp and tasty together with fresh chuckney and sambas. A not too heavy meal worth another visit. Will check out the briyani next round.

This restaurant has been recently renovated and has a nice and clean ambiance. I tried the thali meals several times and it has a nice home cooked feel and taste. They also have good briyani.
