We were very disappointed with both the food and service here at this branch! I would have rated 1 star if we've not met the very first waiter, can't really see his name tag but it starts with Z, I shall address him Z. We would like to recognize his effort in efficiency, we were sitting right outside in the queue and when it's our turn... which didn't took very long... he said hi to us and assured us that he's clearing a table and will only take 16s! I wasn't really expecting him to come back in 16s so didn't really take it to heart or took a stopwatch to monitor... but he came back in less than a minute! Kudos to Z 👍 So we thought we could enjoy our meal before heading up for concert after that first great encounter. However, everything just turned down :( No one explained to us that we could order using an iPad underneath the table, no one came to us to take our orders... everyone just seemed very busy and we managed to find the laptop to order. 7pm was the order, 5-10mins later first dish was served, pho ga, no chopsticks provided and I've to get it myself, asked for more basil from one of the waitresses but wasn't addressed. I remembered that vegetable condiments are free flow but since everyone is busy we didn't press on. Pho Ga was bland and not satisfying. We've been to the Changi City Point branch and we know it shouldn't be this bland. 730pm my order for dry vermicillin with grilled pork not here yet and crispy crepe. Asked the waitresses twice before we were served 735pm. I took 5 mins to finish my dish as I was damn hungry and the food standard is really bad! Seeing the long payment queue, I decided to queue first before having more of the crepe. Another 10mins to pay. And I heard one of the customers in front saying that one of his dishes didn't come so they decided to cancel. Another customer behind complained why it's taking so long just to pay. I saw that waitress Sh keep asking waitress J (while she's busy settling the bills) on various order confusion I supposed. That was the main crux of the long queue. So we left very unhappy and unsatisfied of overall dining experience. I read many responses from management on prior comments about improving standards... but apparently these were not addressed at all. If management is not serious in addressing these issues please do not just post a reply to simply appease customers. Please be sincere in resolving them first. Thanks.
View on GoogleFood was fairly expensive but did not deliver on taste. Concept of wrap your own roll was insisted. There is no point in going to a restaurant to soak your own rice paper. The pho noodles are decent enough.
View on GoogleEnjoyed the food as well as the service. Food came promptly and staff were friendly and helpful. Food doesn't feel heavy. Has dedicated vegetarian menu too with some good options. Not too pricey.
View on GoogleClean quiet Vietnamese restaurant with efficient service. Simple menu with diy wraps. Beef pho was generous with the beef slices, and almost as good as that I had in HCM.
View on GoogleEverything here was really average. Service during weekday lunch was all right, prompt but not friendly. Waiting time for food was very quick though. Food wise, it was OK. They offer set lunches but the portions are a bit on the small side so we went à la carte.
