Reasonable food and good price. Happens to have some time with my wife, so we choose this as they have weekday lunch. We both took a set of it, the price includes a drink. Overall paid $40.55 for two sets. Will be back again if nearby.

We went on a Sunday after church, would like to bring to the management attention a trainee staff at the star vista outlet on 26th of April, Jasmine. Jasmine was very friendly and cheerful and made our whole dining experience very pleasant! Would definitely come back again for the good food!

Tables were placed close together, resulting in lack of privacy for diners. I now know the exact travel plans of the diners seated beside my table. Food took a long time to arrive and it did not taste good. You can have a look and compare the order to the photo in the menu. The sauce looked like an afterthought and the chef was a tad too liberal with the salt. Service was slow and I would assume it’s due to the lunch crowd. What I don’t understand is how I did not get a QR for ordering when they seated me. It should be a part of their SOP, no? The price is reasonable and I am sure the place is better during off peak hours. Nevertheless, I don’t recommend this place and won’t be back again.

I would like to applaud this young female staff (should be a student) whom I was seated at the upper level. As it was dinner time it was full house and she is the only server. She was really patient, courteous & very hardworking despite restaurant being very busy. I hope management sees this msg and kindly reward her or compliment her. Food wise my family loved it as we dine at least twice a month hope as a regular member can provide more discount or voucher!

Watami has been around for decades, and whilst it was great maybe 10-odd years ago, it doesn’t hold up given there are many Japanese options in Singapore in the present day. Nothing wrong with it, but it tastes like a slight step up from hawker Japanese fare but at double the price, it isn’t worth it.
