Had a lovely meal at Daehwa Korean today. I ordered their barley tea and japchae with egg, and both were comforting and satisfying. The barley tea was fragrant, smooth, and refreshing, a perfect pairing with the meal. The japchae was well-seasoned with a nice balance of savoury and slightly sweet flavours, and the texture of the glass noodles was chewy and enjoyable. I especially liked the addition of egg, which made the dish feel more wholesome and comforting. The restaurant has a cosy and casual atmosphere, making it a nice place for a relaxed lunch or dinner around Fusionopolis. Service was friendly and efficient, and the food arrived promptly. I also appreciated that the meal did not feel overly oily or heavy, which made it enjoyable to finish without feeling too full afterwards. Overall, a pleasant Korean dining spot in the Fusionopolis area. I would happily return again to try more dishes on their menu. —— I had the yubu kkaennip kimbap today. It was insanely good. Salivating while writing this 😭
View on GoogleVery delicious Korean beef restaurant in Gyeongju. The beef was fresh, soft, and full of flavor. Nice side dishes and friendly staff too. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Gyeongju!
View on GoogleService was quick. Yuba Kimbap was light and tasty, sliced thinly enough to be 1 mouthful. Other dishes we ordered were just alright. Yapchae pancake tasted like made a long while ago, not crispy and quite bland. Fried Madu was a bit hard.
View on GoogleFood was good but a lot of things needs to be added on with extra price . We have had these add Ons for free in most of the places. Quantity of kimchi add on in bibimbap was a little less and taste was little bland. Rest everything was good.
View on GoogleOrdered the japchae veg noodles - it was really flavourful with lots of mushrooms and veggies. Would come back here to try their other dishes like the bibimbap and pancake Also it was my 1st time here so one of the staff very sweetly explained what’s recommended and explained the different dishes so that was very much appreciated.
