After two years at the business school, I can say that Spread has the best barista coffee on campus! Sam and his team are putting a lot of love and work into making this place the perfect quality breakfast, lunch and dinner spot that you need, especially when looking for continental food. I love their flat white, and for lunch my go-to is the Penne Norma with sous vide chicken! Can’t wait to be back soon!
View on GoogleExtremely disappointing experience at The Spread. The food was nowhere near what I expected, especially considering the price. The dishes lacked flavor and freshness, and some of them were poorly prepared and honestly difficult to enjoy. Portions also felt underwhelming for what we paid. What made the experience worse was the lack of attention to quality and consistency. I expected much better from a restaurant with this reputation. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to the expectations at all. I left feeling that my money would have been better spent somewhere else. Definitely not an experience I would recommend.
View on GoogleThe food is great here. They have indian vegetarian options every day which is a great addition. Their ala-carte menu is also quite diverse. It is a cosy cafestraunt at NUS and I specially come here from DID to have my lunches.
View on GoogleHad lunch here almost daily during our 2 months at NUS. Good cafe. Gets too loud in the afternoon. Everything on the menu is nice except the pastas which they don't cook that well.
View on GoogleBad food yet expensive, would only come here if needed to :( Basil leaves on caprese were wilted and had black spots. Fusion noodles were extremely bland. All the flavor was in the sauce pool at the bottom of the plate and did not stick to the noodles at all. Seasoning tasted only of salt. Whole dish was cold, even the “steamed tofu” add on.
