Tried the food at this outlet as there were not many food stalls open for lunch at NUH medical centre on a Sunday. The hot plate chicken price at $7 is better value than the hot stone bimbimbap price at $7.50. There is not much veggie in the bimbimbap. The picture in the menu shows mushroom and green veg however there is only very little shredded carrots, bean sprouts and seaweed. Miso soup was bland and lacking seaweed. The staff was nice to offer us to change the chicken meat in the bimbimbap to another fully cooked egg as the bimbimbap comes with the same kind of chicken meat in the hot plate.

I was at this place today and ordered the Hot Plate Saba Fish and Kimchi Pancake. The place is a little small and was packed around 11+ but I managed to find a seat. The Saba Fish and the side dishes were good. The pancake was more flour and starch, a bit tough but crispy. There were very little fillings (a few thinly sliced scallions and chilli) and no dipping sauce was provided. Luckily, there were some condiments provided at the serving area. The marinated ginger was good as it goes well with the pancake.

Bought spicy ramen with luncheon meat - it’s salty and sour which I love! Fried dumpling is hard and abit too hard for me Kimchi pancake is crispy - quite different from normal pancake texture Price is good and cheap For chili padi lover - they provide chili padi!

What's great? Bimbimbap is da BOMB! Cheap, good tasting big serving. Eaten this at least 5 times over the past 3 years, consisten quality. Where else can you find??? Hotplate pork is yummy too. What's to improve? Skip the ginseng soup. Some might find them rude, as they would shout when u did not collect your order. They are just trying to clear the orders, as the serving area is small. That is also why they are so fast. Visit again? Yes, to try their porridge and army stew.

Located at the Kent Ridge Wing of NUH, drop of at Kent Ridge MRT station of the yellow circle line and turn right to the eateries from the gantry. At the same level, walk in and you will locate this Korean stall. They serve Korean food at an affordable price but their food wasn't fantastic to rave about but still helps to satisfy your cravings for Korean cuisines. Their counter staff is friendly and patient when taking your orders.
