Pasta Express
Was founded in 2017 to fill the gap in the existing market where pastas were always pre fixed and customers did not have the flexibility to pick and choose their toppings.

Tasty pasta at affordable prices made quickly even during busy hours. The portion of pasta itself is adequate but individual ingredients can be very limited. The pictured plate is $7 (1 meat, 4 veg toppings)
View on GoogleVery bad service !!! FYI: Photo of the food has not been touched. I ordered the following ingredients: Smoked duck Spinach Sous vide egg EXTRA SPICY The quantity of ingredients is so pathetic. Smoked duck only a pathetic 2 pcs. Spinach only few leaves. Ordered extra spicy but chilli padi so pathetically few like less spicy. Oh gosh. There is zero effort in making the food. Getting bad to worse. I was standing in front of the counter waiting for my number to be called. The counter was calling all the order number (probably for dine in) but decided to chuck the takeaways behind on the fridge or something, waiting for people to appear for collection then they will find from the stack. Previously I ordered take away and they gave me the wrong order. So terrible. I had to even walk back to the canteen again just to change my order.
View on GooglePasta here is very value for money. Where else to get decently made pasta for the price of 7? I tried the smoked duck pasta and the cream sauce was just nice. Definitely not top grade 30 dollar pasta, but for 7 dollars, it is definitely a steal.
View on GoogleBewitchingly tasteful, and modestly affordable. For pasta, it is only just to claim that Pasta Express has made its mark in NUS’s food recommendations. Served with expedité and energy, the food comes in haste, giving customers a gamble and uncertainty on whether the food is worth its wages. The potpourri of ingredients remain unchanged and restrained, giving customers a rather jaded approach when nothing new can be chosen. Only three of the most prominent and faddish sauces are served. Videlicet, aglio olio, cream, and tomato sauce. As monotonous and mundane the sauces are, as it has been for half a decade, it remains to be one of the most preeminent flavours in NUS, for that price. The crowd and queue remains lengthily prolix, though it seems that nothing else could be done to minimise the conflux. However, as the kitchen does its work, the effluvium of peppers and seasoning blinds and asphyxiates its waiting customers. Apparent discomfort can be coursed through the crowd, like irate red blood cells flowing through a jabbed vein. Appalling and disgusting filtration. Conclusively, the food and speed compensates its agonisingly odoriferous ’fragrance’ of overused peppers in its peak hours.
View on GoogleThe cream pasta here is always tasty and affordable, I definitely recommend coming here for a meal. You can choose your own ingredients and it’s filling for one person, but I was extra hungry so I ordered add extra pasta for ($1.20) more. I always order duck, sous vide egg, and mushrooms. It’s a great place to eat or take away, I love their cream sauce with garlic slices in it.
