Hi everyone! Just a friendly reminder... Untangled (the pasta outlet) opened at this location on 12 July 2025. Please check all the review timestamps before judging this place! Before this, it was a mid place iirc. This pasta is the best if not close to the best ive ever tried. The pasta is so flavourful and rich. Big enough portion size for any student. I believe they portion it out based on how rich it is. They give more pasta for milder sauces. One of the best places ive tried. Genuinely. I dont review often, but this one definitely deserves it. Friendly staff and really accomodating if you just step up to ask them! Yes, it is a little pricey for students who are used to $3 cai fan, but fresh pasta in this economy can be pricier. Id suggest it as a splurge or a treat or a date!

For the portion size and ingredients, this is definitely worth the price! I recommend the squid ink pasta with prawns. The prawns were big and fresh!

Mushroom soup yummy. The friendly cashier never asked how the ribeye to be cooked. Luckily it went well quite tender. French fries a bit salty. Coffee just warm not hot.

Went for a dental appointment at the National University Oral Care building and happened to chance upon this dainty cafe. There wasn't a lot of people around at the time but the mains took really long (at least 20 minutes) to be served. Fortunately, the starters were served earlier. Objectively, the food tastes decent. Chicken chop is well grilled and tender, but fried were a little average like those that you can find at neighbourhood western stalls. For the price they are commanding ($18 for a set meal with soup and drinks), I would have to say that the quality is below the price-grade. Perhaps it is because of the rent, but still worth a try for yourself if you are in the area, just don't have too high expectations.

A hidden gem located at the medical centre. The salad and drinks set are pretty worth the money, the salad comes in quite a generous portion, and the lemon tea is very thick “gao”. I highly recommend their cream base pasta; it is creamy, thick and tasty, unlike those water down cream pasta I had elsewhere. Do avoid the peak period as it can be very crowded and the standard might drop due to the rush. My advise would be to visit them as early as 11.30am.
