Was closed for a while and finally back open! Good and cheap mala, hard to beat price! Prices are based on weight. Very tasty and flavourful. Just to note if you get instant noodles it’s $2 each

Ordered the shredded potato and pig intestine. The ala carte dishes are really good! The gravy or sauce used in the pig intestine is very fragrant and savoury, the intestines were cleaned well and did not have a pungent smell, it was stir fried with ginger, fresh chilli, dried chilli and onions which really brought out the flavour. The shredded potato was more on the vinegary side, which i personally prefer, but maybe a bit too sour if you are not someone that likes vinegar. The potato was so crisp and fresh! Portion sizes are rather big as well, bigger than the mala at utown. Price was $8 for the intestine and $7 for potato, which is cheaper than utown mala! Sitting area is nice as well, with some couches for u to chill.

Very expensive MALA. TOOO MUCH MSG and very very oily. The whole bowl of ingredients are basically soaking in oil. The MALA is especially loaded with MSG. The aftertaste of MSG is so hard to be rid of, and lingers for a very long time after you eat it - causing a headache. And the other aftereffects was the never-ending thirst that can never be quenched with water.

worst customer service ever. the auntie is super rude. first time she took our bowl, ignored us when we asked for rice & noodles and keyed in wrongly. then she scolded us for not ordering fast enough (theres no queue by the way). we argued back saying we ordered, she just didnt hear us. and she dare to blame us for not ordering “fast enough”?? this auntie is actually crazy
