It's incredibly impressive! The staff were outstanding, always greeting warmly with a smile. the staff's brightness in my day genuinely means a lot to me. The Premium Surf and Turf steak and the Beef Stroganoff with beef katsu were outstanding. However, the Tonteki pork steak sauce could benefit from improvement, and the Curry Rice with Pan-fried Chicken looks a bit lackluster; adding eggs to it would definitely make it perfect. The Tarts were exceptionally delicious, especially the blueberry variety which was superb. This restaurant is highly rated and is highly recommended.

Repeated diner here, for dinner. Always appreciate how they served water for free and the price point of food is still reasonable for the current economy and for the outstanding service by Ms Hui Shan and team!! Hui Shan’s efficiency and warmth amidst the busy peak dinner timing makes a huge difference, you are truly a dependable team leader for the restaurant with your observation and anticipation skills. It is great to be served by you again. Satisfied with the taste and presentation of food but the seabass was a bit on the salty side. Fish texture is cooked perfectly! For atmosphere, hope the lighting inside will be slightly brighter. Love watching the kitchen chefs in action via the glass panel. They are professional and certainly handled the high pressure well. Will be back again, thank you for the wonderful dining experience 👍👍

Service is superb here, the waitress was so friendly and efficient, even when there was a crowd. Food was not bad, but prices are on the higher side. I think the lunch set is not a bad deal, but ala carte probably wouldn't be that worth. Got the Garlic Pork Set, and the flavour of the pork was not bad, though it was a tad bit too tough. The set comes with soup, salad, the choice of rice or bread, and the choice of coffee, tea or ice cream. I'd recommend getting the bread as having a whole plate of plain rice is kind of boring. The ice cream that day was unfortunately strawberry flavoured, which tasted too artificial and sweet for me. I felt that the space could've been used more efficiently. There were quite a few tables that were only suited for four diners, making it a waste to seat parties of less than four pax. The environment was also really hot, I do hope they do something about it. Overall, Ma Maison is definitely on the expensive side and the quality might not justify the high prices completely. However, I think it's worth a try if you're coming for the lunch set. Do arrive earlier or past the peak hours as there was a queue during lunch time on a weekday.

We have visited Ma Maison at Anchorpoint quite a few times, but I finally decided to write a review. The biggest draw for us is consistency; you might not get the absolute "best" food in Singapore here, but you are assured a certain quality and you can tell they try their best. Our party of 5 decided to order one of each item from their Lunch Set Menu. It was a great way to sample everything. The Sets: Great value. Most come with a comforting soup of the day ( today is corn soup), salad, and drink. The Tonkatsu set swaps these for Miso soup and cabbage salad. The Star: Surprisingly, the Sirloin Steak Lunch ($27.80) was the winner. My wife is very particular about her steaks, yet she sang praises about this one. It was done very well. The "Competent": I had the Tonkatsu Set ($22.30). It was decent—the batter was crispy, but the meat was a bit too lean and not tender enough for my liking. The rice was also slightly overcooked. It’s a passable Tonkatsu, but not a memorable one. Other Dishes: The Omu-Rice, Hamburger Steak and Plate Lunch (Hamburger Steak & Omu-Rice combo) were visually appetizing and satisfied the rest of the table. Value: We were thankful for a 20% Postcard Member discount for the festive period, bringing our total for 5 pax to just $105.99. For this quality and portion size, it is very reasonable. We will continue to visit for the reliable quality.

Had a very pleasant lunch thanks to the cheery service by Hui Shan, Jia Yee and team. They made sure our big group of 6 was seated comfortably and well taken care of. We have been here several times and food is of consistent quality. We'll be back again :)
