Today (3 June) at about 8.45pm, I encountered (not for the first time) the rude employee at the coffee stall. She's the late 40s, 50, year old looking woman with short black hair and I think a China accent. First, she kept me waiting yo pay for a cake because she didn't bother to check if anyone was there. She was hidden from me, washing at the sink, so I could not attract her attention. Then a passer-by informed her a customer was at the counter. She looked very annoyed at me as I held up the cake I wanted to buy. She said in Mandaron: "$1.30". I nodded to signal that I wanted to pay for it. She came over wordlessly, still visibly annoyed, and entered the price on the device and immediately returned to the sink without once looking at me or saying anything. Very rude. Obviously she doesn't like serving customers and should not be doing this job. I hope the management either teaches her basic manners that every child should know or replace her with someone suitable for a customer service job. That will be the last time I patronise Koufu.... It's been 2 weeks since this incident, i haven't been back there. Blessing in disguise: that incident has completely broken my habit of going there.

Almost empty of customers at 11am on a weekday. Stalls open and mostly had food already cooked and ready. Variety of stalls great. Place clean and tidy. Quality and taste was ok for food court standard.

Ate at STEAM FISH DELIGHTS afew times, was happy with the steam fish. But today the steam fish Ankoly or red snapper not fresh🧐👎🏾 (13/11/25) Did not up keep the standard. Will the stall manager to take note, so as to not get negative feedback. Will come back again to give another try & see how it goes. I am a fish person. If not fresh will returned it n get my money back. Feeling lousy & disappointed 😕 Returned many times no problem. Today Sat 1.8.26 ordered steam fish number (10) ok, BUT i took the chilli & light sauce. I noticed it sticky & turned bad. I told the new guy attending the stall about it, told me nomore sauce & chilli🧐. I not too happy about it. I am writing in to voice what is on the ground😠 Also did not lid the candle to keep the fish warm ( sheer laziness) Will the manager in charge to look into the matter & uphold your stall standards! I am a regular patron.

I am writing this in hopes that Koufu management reviews the customer service standards at the Anchorpoint outlet. Yesterday evening (Wednesday, June 17th), I visited the drinks/coffee stall and encountered a female Singaporean Chinese staff member whose service attitude needs immediate attention. When she either did not understand English or was hard of hearing, instead of asking politely for clarification, she loudly blurted out "Haah?" at me, then practically shouted "$4.90!" (the priceI wanted to know). The interaction lacked basic common courtesy and felt entirely uncivilized—reminiscent of a wet market stall from half a century ago, rather than a modern establishment. If Singapore prides itself on being a First World nation, basic courtesy and polite communication should be a baseline standard, especially for staff working in frontline customer service. I hope the area manager looks into the shift roster for yesterday evening and provides this employee with the necessary training on how to interact with customers respectfully.
