Lovely ambience and attentive staff! I thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience here with my family today. We ordered a few different dishes and every one of them tasted surprisingly good! We unanimously agreed that the Gruyére Cheese Zucchini Croquette was the tastiest - crunchy on the outside and filled with cheese and veg inside - yumz! I ordered the oven-roasted chicken leg. The meat was moist and succulent - though I would have preferred little more gravy. Vegetarian friends don't have to get hungry here as there are many options and the dishes taste awesomely good too!
View on GoogleEnjoyed the À La Carte French Buffet at Vineyard @ HortPark. The food was freshly prepared and served to the table, with the grilled ribeye, mushroom soup and mussels being our favourites. Service was friendly and attentive, and the peaceful garden setting made the dining experience even more relaxing. The only downside is that the buffet menu is quite limited. If there were more variety, it would make the experience even better. Overall, a great place for quality food and a relaxing meal. Would definitely visit again! But very kind of them to celebrate my hubby Birthday. Thank you to all the staffs in vineyard.
View on GoogleAwesome food and service! The duck confit was very juicy inside while the skin was crispy. The source was delicious and lifted up the taste of the duck meat to the next level. The seafood risotto was equally delicious. This is probably the best risotto that I have tasted so far. The only downside is the noise level was quite high and it kind of degraded the overall experience of the meal and beautiful view of the lawn outside the restaurant. I believe the noise was due to the reflection of the floor marbles and other hard surfaces.
View on GoogleHad the a la carte French buffet at Vineyard @ HortPark and it was absolutely wonderful! 🥰 The food was incredibly delicious. From the starters like Duck Rillette and Mussels Mariniere to mains like Steak Frites and Duck Leg Confit, every dish was full of rich flavour and plated beautifully. The unlimited servings never compromised on quality. 😋 Samantha and her team served us with such great attention and care. They were so smiley, attentive and never rushed. We felt so welcomed from start to finish.😇 The surprise birthday dessert was indeed a surprise. Magically served with so much thought and detail, it made the celebration extra special. 🥰🥰🥰 Thank you Samantha and her impeccable team for making it such a memorable awesome evening! 💖 Will be back soon🤩
View on GoogleThe food is 4stars but the service is exceptionally 5stars. Arrived early for my buffet reservation and there were only 2-3 tables occupied. Was informed that the fresh mussels were not available due to unreplenished stock, appreciated the transparency as I wasn't interested in frozen mussels. 🔸Mushroom soup - 9/10 chunky mushroom bits, rich and thick. Not what you'd expect to find at a buffet. 🔸Garden salad - 8/10 varied fresh leaves and root veges. Lots of feta throughout. Heavy on vinaigrette which is my only gripe about this dish. 🔸Koji marinated duck fritters - 7/10 extra crispy skin, feels over fried, tough and salty. The garlic aioli is good to taper. Wouldn't order this again. 🔸 Zucchini croquette - 8/10 comes in twos but Clarence thoughtfully adjusted it to a single piece for me. Crisp batter and creamy fresh zucchini bits. 🔸 Mushroom pate and apricot compote - 9/10 its an amazing vegan sub for pate sorts. I was surprised how good this was. The serving was very generous that the 3 slices of baguette was slathered to a mound. Would love to buy a jar of this to take home. A staff approached to inform that mussels had freshly arrived, mid meal, and asked if I would like an order of it. I absolutely love their proactive and thoughtful staff that are genuinely happy to feed you! Can't say I've been to a buffet that wanted you to try more. My whole dining experience here has been warmingly welcome and I would highly recommend it. The 2 mains I had paled in comparison to the rest of the menu. I'd go as far as to say skip the mains and try more of the rest. 🔸Duck confit - 6/10 lacking the light crisp skin and fall off the bone textured. It was more tough and dry than expected. The veges were better than the meat. 🔸Steak frites - 7/10 rating isn't reflective of the preparation but more of the cut which was tough. It was cooked to a perfect mid rare. The peppercorn sauce is fantastic. Appreciated that they could serve this without the fries. 🔸Ah Hua kelong Mussels - 9.5/10 the mussels themselves were stellar, plump and juicy but the white wine butter sauce was too salty. Small issues as I was only focused on the mussels. I had a second serving. Some mussels still had their beards on so do check.❤️Remove mussels and add them to the risotto! 🔸Mushroom risotto - 8/10 silky with bits of mushrooms, enjoyed this topped with mussels that arrived shortly after. 🔸 Limoncello tiramisu - 7/10 tartness helps after a heavy meal but I don't have a sweet tooth so only tried some. 🔸 Chocolate profiteroles - 8/10 a good finish to the meal, crisp shell and not too sweet vanilla ice cream that's still firm. Delightful brunch quality spread for an affordable buffet price, amazing. The buffet menu offered is worth bringing the whole family or friends group. The staff made the visit all the more memorable.
