20/8/2024 Had espresso (Midnight Glow, $4), was good! The staff shared another bean type (Hello Daylight), much appreciated for the generosity! I'll be back to try their pastries. If you drive, you can park within the ascends building's basement carpark.

The breakfast sets were of great value and quality - $7 for croissants (and the likes) and specialty coffees/teas; and $4 for pies/puffs and Nanyang coffees/teas. All nett prices.

Coffee smells great and flavour is quite strong, they have weekday breakfast set ($4) but can only choose traditional kopi. Will come again to try their other $6 set coffee +pastry Edit: I have come back to try their mocha and danish chocolate. It is slightly expensive ($9) but I think the mocha is quite good (not overly chocolate-ly) and the danish chocolate is not bad, though it will be much better if it were hotter.

You know your coffee is going to be good when the colour of the extracted bean juice is so inviting 😍 We chanced upon @pyroast while we were here at Science Park and left satisfied with good coffee 😍 I had a cup of Iced Latte ($6) which had just the right amount of milk. It was very rich, with hints of chocolate notes, nutty flavours and fruity notes as well. You can classify this as quite an intensive cup of coffee you would like to sip! The Dirty Genmaicha ($7) was uncommon and very interesting, as the coffee flavour was still prominent while the nutty earthy genmaicha flavour comes in towards the back. I actually prefer this to dirty matcha, as the combination of flavours is much smoother and well-rounded. The cafe interior was quite aesthetic as well, perfect for a chill out after lunch if you do work around the area. Will be back!

We're not a coffeeholic, but it does have some varieties of brewing from expresso, v60, cold brew. If you're looking for a coffee near Kent ridge other than Starbucks or Coffee Bean, can try this one. Located near ascent building. There are some options for lunch as well near the place We ordered the cold brew and expresso
