Came by at about 8pm so it was nice and peaceful. Most stalls' pricing looked to be pretty affordable, but we were here just for dessert. They had a 50cents discount on hot dessert in weekdays, so our total came up to just be $4.80! Standard was also good, so really recommended!
View on GoogleHidden in one corner of Geneo, opposite end of the building from the restaurants' side. = No official info on opening hours. Some stalls are open on weekends, but others are closed. - Low ceiling, so can be kinda stuffy. - Rectangular tables near the windows are fixed in position, yet are installed too far from the bench seating, i.e. shorter people or ladies gotta stretch/ lean forward to consume their dishes. View on GoogleQuiet hawker at Geneo after work hours. Not much variety but got your standard mix rice, fish soup, Japanese, western, mala selections. Plus side is that you get 10% off when you pay with their app. Most stalls close around 8+pm so be sure to come before then
View on GoogleUpdated Came 3 times in all. Once too hot and too crowded. Other two times came at no peak hours. Western food mid noon couple and young lady is v service orientated. Chicken chop and paid sides like onion rings is v good. Asked chef to help to cut the chicken chop so that it can be easily eaten and need not use normal knife to cut the meat at small serving area. Dinner service I had lamp chop. Younger staff is a bit unfamiliar. Portion of lamp chop is vvv small. This shop gives generous sides, fried rice, pasta and mashed potatoes all super big portions to cover the hot plate. But protein, apart from chicken is way too small ... can't be eating the 2 sides as main. The chinese soupy fish stall 粗粮鱼粉 is quite good too. Though little fish but lots of veg and mushroom. Free flow fried mini soya liked beans. 金汤鱼 is less spicy' than 酸辣鱼。 Not too bad. Mala shop sells meat and veg as per 100g at ard $2.50. Not too bad. Dessert stall not bad. Tau Suan is hot, sticky to the right texture and not overly sweet. Chendol is great. Other friend's items were not bad too. ** Terrible .... 😞 Drink stalls. Tea is horrible. Toast set's bun ok. But for half boiled eggs which I collected later. Staff not sure how long it has been there and got to ask another for advice. Not a good experience. Eggs came out all wrong. -- Peak hours 12-2pm. Very hard to find a place during peak hours. And the place is vv stuffy.
View on GoogleThe vegetable mixed rice here is overpriced and not in line with the listed price. When I asked the cashier, she said they don’t follow the displayed price list and instead calculate the price individually for each dish. If you’re ordering mixed vegetable rice here, it’s better to check the price of each dish before choosing, otherwise the total may be much higher than expected.
