Had very late first meal at around 3:30pm. Ordered pineapple bun with butter, pan fried carrot cake, curry fish ball, braised cuttlefish, hot yuan yang. All food are nice and quite authentic with HK taste. I like the fish ball and carrot cake the most. Save my stomach for dinner and so take away assorted tarts. The guy is very nice and gives good advice so I won’t over order and he also discourage me to get the tarts if I didn’t finish by next day morning. Honest shop and I will visit again next time.

The egg tarts are their speciality. They also have other varietals such as kaya tart, charcoal crust tarts, cheese tarts. They also have savoury items like chicken pies. The egg tarts are soft and the crust crumby and slightly buttery. It tastes good. When you order 4 tarts, they will pack them in a nice long box, which is great for gifting. Recommended!

You can dine in at this branch and order more than just pastries. They also serve also HK noodle or rice or snacks. I enjoyed the wife biscuit. Their charsiew polo bun has good charsiew filling and for some reason, their polo isn't the crispy polo bun type since it is preheated. It was decent just now the usual HK polo bun texture.

Wow! The nostalgic atmosphere was really 8/10 with the Cantonese songs of 80s in the background and the tables displaying yesteryear items~ Serving HK styled tomato based soup noodles/ macaroni and silky rice, delicious and varied egg tarts, bolo buns and of course, drinks menu included 7-up with plum and HK Silky Milk Tea~ Jin Jin old school eh!! Joyous and cheerful staff approached us with courteous attitude and small talks, made the overall feel at ease and you feel like a regular~ ha! Thumbs up! Jia you, not too easy to hold the fort this many years at HV!

Ordered the 1) Scrambled Eggs + Chicken Chop + Bolo Bun (added butter), 2) Salted Egg Yolk Tart, 3) Charcoal Milk Egg Tart 4) Kopi C Kosong, 5) Yuan Yang Kosong. 🍗🍳🥖 Scrambled egg chicken set was good! Fried chicken cutlet is one of the best in Singapore. It was crispy - chicken was well cooked and not too thick. Ratio of crispy to chicken is good. Scrambled egg consistency was smooth and creamy but could do with more salt & maybe pepper. Bolo bun was alright. 🥚🥧 Salted eggyolk tart is a limited time special on the menu. Taste like the original egg tart but with salted egg sauce oozing out! 🥛🥧 Charcoal milk eggtart had a creamy smooth centre and the tart is soft but not to the point of crumbley. Tasted good but slightly on the sweet side. Good to balance out the salted egg yolk tart. ☕️ Kopi and yuan yang was alright. Nothing special.
